Missing Amulet Of the Heart

I have completed the event story quest on both the EU & Na server and was told I had the Amulet of the Heart momento. When I look in my momentos it is not there.
How can I complete my achievements?
Please fix this as I would like to do my achievements which I need this momento for.

Did you use the amulet at the end of the quest? You have to be in the right spot for the prompt to show up. After that it goes into your tools menu

Yes I did that but it never went into my momentos, it said it was a momento so I was just looking in the wrong menu.
Thank you I have now found it under the tools menu.

I'm in a similar boat. I've given Kuzam-ju his hug, he says he's given me the Amulet of the Heart and to use it. I look in my Tools and it's still showing greyed out as if I have yet to get it. I tried reloading ui, no change. I tried rebooting, no change. I abandoned the quest, hugged him again and still same result. Guess I can't finish this one.

** Update **

Apparently, I had to move about 10 yards away from him and got the message on screen to hit "E" to use Amulet of the Heart. I'm good now.

Well, that was incredibly unclear. Looked all over my mementos, reloaded the game, looked in my inventory to see if it was in a box I had to open. Had to come here to finally find where they hid it. If it says memento, I'd expect it to be in the mementos menu.

It is very odd. Also, the fact that it's supposed to have some effect on interactions with NPCs but doesn't seem to actually do anything? If it did actually do something, I can see it being slotted as a Tool. As it is, it feels a bit unfinished?

That same thing happened to me. I had to ask in zone chat and someone told me to back up away from him, then it worked.

This lack of clear directions, and some of the quest markers being in the wrong places, made this a confusing and unpleasant quest chain. Ever since Eastern Solstice quests have gotten more unclear and buggy. I hope this trend stops soon.
