What's your main character's backstory and does it fit in with being the Vestige?

I haven't put too much thought into my character.

He was a crusader working with the temple of Stendarr aiding the order where needed. His travels took from from Wayrest to Solitude, down though the Reach, past Falkreath and across Burma. As he rested in an inn on the final leg to the Imperial City he was abducted by cultists and that's where his journey began.

After escaping Coldharbour he done a few odd jobs on Stros M'Kai before finding himself in Betnikh, he though the ship was going to the mainland but he must've misheard.

He's still new character so we'll see where he goes from there.

My canonical Vestige, Velryn Varo, was born in Gnisis in a farmers family and became a Temple acolyte in his young age. Devoted but too proud, he moved to Mournhold to become an Ordinator, but failed miserably on the trials, and since then has tried every possible way to earn another chance at promotion.
During one such attempt he was captured by a daedra somewhere in the dangerous Ashlands and sacrificed along with the other prisoners.
After Lyris rescued him from his cage, he met another soulless one, orsimer merc, and, joining forces, they escaped Coldharbour.
And then they crawled across Tamriel in buddy movie style, destroying dark anchors, battling the forces of Molag Bal, learn some stuff about friendship and finally reclaiming their souls.

These are my fondest memories in the game. It's just a pity that main quest can only be completed solo, I really really like that there is a plenty of Chosen Ones runnuing around.

I'm a roleplayer, so none of my characters are Vestiges in character since that usually doesn't work when interacting with other people.

My character probably has over 100 pages of writing now....and tons of baggage. But the short version is he few up in a small Mara cult of Altmer, and is now a Priest of Mara. He also was cursed to be able to see and speak with ghosts, and is prone to possessions. (Necromancer)

Weirdly I find I don't think too much on backstories until the said character gets her own home.

I have an intensely private Vampire Sorc.

A Templar with awful partying and gambling tedancies.

Another Sorc who has dabbled so deeply in magic she now leads a group of Sky Pirates..... yes flying boats and a ship.

An Arcanist so deeply disturbed by her recent history, she spends her time now stealing people's dreams!

Suffice to say they all have reacted very differently to their "Vestige" experience and none in a particularly positive way!!

Oh I forgot my Warden, she felt the need to spend a lot of her time on the Battlefields of Cyrodiil but now lives a quieter life experimenting on nature to make her own "glowy" animals

my character starts off similar to aragon in lord of the rings after making out of coldharbour and as times passes goes from this shadowy character to rising up through personal struggles and becoming a better version on what they were
