This picture depicts my life: Im the guy on the left, and that is my wife in the center.
Don't know what she sees in me,
but I guess there is hope for every plushie ;)

Anyway, pretty nice rewards in this golden pursuit.

I really like the furniture from this pursuit and I think the little kitten moppet is adorable. The kissing emote makes me chuckle, too. Nicely done!

I'm not saying this as a complaint, especially since everyone has different tastes. Just feedback that can be accumulated.

There wasn't any interest for me in this golden pursuit.
The furniture looks unusually bright/saturated to where it really stands out against older furniture and player homes.
The emote is overly cartoony. And based on past forum threads, I can imagine a world where some players might feel inclined to report it as harassment.
Plus emotes themselves have such little presence in gameplay anyways– I don't see them as rewards, just as gimmicked clutter.

There's nothing enticing here for me or my characters. But I know this stuff is right up other players' alleys.

I find some of the Golden Pursuits to be too specific. I also don't feel like a lot of these are very clear on what needs done and especially how it needs to be done. (i.e. Must be in a group or with a companion. Must be in close proximity to grouped player.). I also wasn't aware that there were achievements that sent boxes by mail to players until I read it in a thread.

    The furnishings are nice, though.

My only issue is trying to get to Craglorn. I decided to take a character I've been leveling up skills and what not and just like a few of my other characters the NPC in Grahtwood and the other corresponding cities wasn't by the cart and I couldn't click on the cart to get there.

I didn't see a portal by the event tent so I had to remember how to get there on foot. Still unsure if that NPC by the cart is part of another quest or it's bugged cause he is there on some of my characters.

When an event is started in Craglorn, it is deliberately working to exclude new, low level characters and non-group or guild players. There is no good reason not to have this event started in the traditional locations. Starting it in Craglorn is a 'finger up' at a portion of the consumer base.

I don't care for the gold event awards. The boxes were fun to open but I didn't need the items. The teddy cat looks unloved with the seam tearing open. The chairs and tables are too bright in color to blend with other furnishings. The blow kiss is just SIMS 4 silly. (I am a TS3 fan)

The quests were doable; however, the rewards were not good. I don't need most of what is provided. I get companion gifts only for the companions I don't use. I get companion gear that I already have. I get guild levels for guilds that I am already maxed out in. (The level points are so low they are worthless anyway.)

In summary, the rewards are as if directed at low level characters; however, the location of the event is in a place that says 'low levels or non-groupies' keep away. Doesn't make sense to me.

The mopped looks unloved? On the contrary, it looks extremely well loved. If you had a treasured stuffed animal as a child, you know the patched and threadbare appearance is exactly right.

    The furniture isn't new, it's from 2020.

Not where I live. I have two stuffed items from my childhood; neither are thread bare, torn, or batched. The open seam makes it look like it came from Fallout.

My childhood stuffed pig saw thousands of adventures over the years, and over time had both ears and his tail replaced, had several rips and tears that needed to be repaired, lost most of his stuffing that got inexpertly replaced, and lost both of his shiny eyes and got new button eyes.
He is patched, threadbare and lumpy, too fragile now for adventures but still lives in a place of honor.

Shades of "The Velveteen Rabbit" there. My rabbit was similarly threadbare and sightless, but not in the least bit less precious because of it.
