Seeking advice on how to most easily murder my companions for the Heart's Week celebration

Yeah, like 10 duels does it. 20 if you both need that achievement.

I was lucky enough to find a player down at the entrance to the Vivec City crafting area. I ressed them and to my surprise they were immediately downed by the guards again. So I ressed them again. And again. And again until I completed all 10. I don't know who they were but couldn't believe my luck in stumbling across that.

Used a very tanky character and used Wuyuvus, the hunger WB in Vvardenfell. Was pretty quick.

I took Ember into Arx Corinium (need a lead there), removed all her armour and her weapon, and removed everything from her skillbar. Slotted a taunt. AC has a lot of trash mobs, so it's easy to aggro two sets of them at the same time. She died to trash mobs over and over, and that's with my bear fighting along with her. It's easy to rez her since they're trash mobs. Got the achievement quickly and switched to another companion to finish the dungeon.

Oh, I'd be comfortable with it. Unfortunately, from my friends list, everyone except for 1 person has stopped playing this game (and that last person sees duelling as an utter waste of time). All were people mostly focused on lore, story content, roleplay (biggest focus on lore). The last one left during the Wall event. Actually I could set up a chart about which story was the last straw for most...

For me it worked to revive somebody else companions too. Not in group with their players. So one group event in Calindvale Gardens got me most part of achievement.
Big fights like dragons and West Weald things should work well, as no one ever bothers with resurrecting companions.

Bastian's my OG and still my favorite.

I guess people may view me as I view the person who wrote that the 3rd Heart's Day quest was the best one lol.

Not the optimal way. Just my experience.

I've chosen the nFG1 for that purpose.
I removed any companion skill but three taunts (dk chain, undaunted, ice staff). Believe me, she killed two stacks with me doing nothing, before I removed those skills 0_o
As a result, I've made the 10th res before the second boss.

Cons:
- First boss can use one of his 2 interrupts, while you're ressing
- Companion can roll-dodge through the wall out of the dungeon. Keep an eye on it and leave the combat to reset them, if it happens.

Pros:
- That was fun

Actually I guess some WB like that nereid in the northern Rivenspire would be faster.
Well, at least nobody intruded in the process in the instanced dungeon.

Also you can simply run some trial with PUG and do the res, but it's hardly sporting

It's not about how easy it is to get others to join, it's how easy it is to even ask in the first place. If you have anxiety it's almost impossible to ask for help most times. There are other reasons too, but that's mine.

I don't doubt it's really quick and easy that way, but sometimes it's not an option. It doesn't actually help very much to just tell us we're doing it wrong for finding other ways.

where have i said anyone was wrong for how they wanted to do something i just gave an optional way of doing it and explained thats how I DO it , and i understand your reasoning , i try asking others in away so they feel im helping them not that im asking for their help guess how you ask something changes the way others might respond to it

If you're going to get the Infinite Archive achievement, you might as well kill 2 birds with one stone and get the IA bosses and stronger mooks to put your companion on the floor while you're there.

For best results, give them multiple taunts and no survival skills or armour, then kill just the less threatening mooks so they taunt the dangerous stuff and get Krumped.

By the time you get to the end boss you'll probably have most of the revives you need, and the boss should be able to do the rest while you sit back and watch.

Bring popcorn.

Warden in City of Ash usually ends up killing my companions because they refuse to move out of the fire. And it's the first boss so easy to reset by jumping off the platform.

I tried soloing a group dungeon on vet (City of Ash I), companion wouldn't die. I did IA (first arc), companion wouldn't die. I soloed a world boss, companion wouldn't die. So... today, I did a world boss where someone else joined in and their companion died. I revived that one. I did a siege camp and another player's companion died. I revived that one too.

It would be nice though if the players in PVE would think of this achievement and let others revive them too. I could have gotten a few more towards the achievement today. *shrug*

If I don't get it, there is always next year.

I went to Southern Elsweyr to that Auroran guardian WB and summoned a melee companion. During the X-shaped AoE phase she died repeatedly and the boss didn't hit hard enough to prevent me from getting her back up.

You have commented the same thing in response to 3 or 4 posts suggesting alternatives tho, which gave me that impression

Went to a dungeon solo and removed all Bastian's gear and only gave him taunt skills and just tried to lure him into AoE. Even then it took quite a while to down him, but eventually was able to revive him multiple times over a boss fight or two.

I wish I had read this sooner. The havocrel boss would have been good but boy do I hate those portals.

I first tried the lava in Stonefalls where I get the scribing healing endeavors done, Ember doesn’t take damage in lava.

I then went to Spellscar in Craglorn, didn’t see anyone leveling up there, so my nightblade hit one add and cloaked, then waited until Ember died (I took off most of her armor). If I let the adds move away too fast then she revived herself. Then I had a few players help her so the add group was killed a few times. Yeah, thanks guys. I had to try reviving while the adds were still around but luckily I only needed 3 or 4 tries because I had gotten credit for some rezzes in a trial or Cyrodiil already.

I don’t like Ember but I still felt bad about hiding in stealth and watching her die. The things I do for achievements in this game, lol.
