Can't get bat fragments any more?

So I got the bat during the last event, but I did not get more bat fragments.
I can no longer buy bat fragments?
Has anyone else that already has the bat been able to get bat fragments or still has them under collections?

I know they were talking about making them needing to be purchased only once but I'm concerned we will still need them for the future event rewards like in other events.
Bug? Intended? ???

Intended. Once you get the bat pet, you’re done.

You no longer need to create the pet again to obtain any future collectibles that require it. It's why the fragments are 10 tickets per piece, instead of 5 tickets. So if you get the new recall, you do not need to make the bat again to obtain whatever the next item will be.

ok, so maybe it's a stupid question, but i'm gonna ask it anyway:

So if i 'use' the bat to make the recall, do i still keep the bat pet? It will not be consumed for anything anymore; do i understand that correctly? I'm not worried for future morphs, just the fact if i keep the cute bat as well....

Yes you will keep the bat pet, and you will never have to make it again to create any future items.
