Cooldown on Event Boxes in IA?

Doing some Infinite Archive with Bastian to farm boxes, and it doesn't seem like every boss is awarding event boxes. Was the article incorrect and there's only a chance at boxes from IA bosses, or are they not dropping like they're supposed to?

What I *think* may be happening is there's some hidden cooldown on the boxes, so that if you're completing IA too quickly and kill the next boss too soon after the previous one, it won't award a box. Just a guess based on what I was seeing.

There is definitely a cooldown on overland stuff. But in the past (plunder skulls for example), IA didn‘t have a cooldown. I hope there is no cooldown…

Event boxes usually have a 5 minute cooldown.

Pace yourself, that is why I just watch youtube and afk at a group delve boss every 5 mins. People were having too much fun and profits at the Craglorn rift routes. It was like this too when people were killing dragons really fast.

Pace yourself, that is why I just watch youtube and afk at a group delve boss every 5 mins. People were having too much fun and profits at the Craglorn rift routes. It was like this too when people were killing dragons really fast.

Yup, you'll probably just miss out on boxes if you want to do IA. It is what it is, I would prefer no cooldown at all. But get ZoS'd.

Not that hard. Just pause before the next boss for a few minutes. If you're just there for boxes, what's the rush?

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion here, but I think it's fine there's a cooldown. Otherwise it becomes a job to keep up with people who farm boxes, and everything becomes worthless so fast and inventories jus clog up with more stuff that noone can shift. This makes each box more valuable so people who do not have days and days for farming can still get something out of a couple of hours playtime each day.
