is it possible to get event tickets without being grouped or with a companion?

the event article seems to say no.

i killed a Delve boss without a Companion and did not get an event Parcel.
pictures of my loot with and without companion.
Companion included picture does not show parcel, but does show Event Tickets which can only be acquired with a parcel.

You can earn up to two Event Tickets each day by participating in the event. You earn tickets alongside your Mara’s Extravagant Parcel each day. Note that these items are looted together, and the tickets are not contained in the box itself. Also be aware that Event Tickets cannot be earned by pickpocketing—the holiday is for stealing hearts, not rewards! You can earn up to 16 total Event Tickets over the course of Heart’s Week.

During the event period, you can earn Mara’s Parcels in several ways, but primarily by completing adventuring tasks with friends. Being in a group with one or more other players counts, as does having a Companion summoned. The tasks that award parcels are:

- Defeating a delve boss.
- Defeating a world boss.
- Defeating an Infinite Archive boss.
- A chance for a parcel when you complete an Incursion, such as a Dark Anchor or Abyssal Geyser.
- Looting a treasure chest.
- A small chance for a parcel when you harvest resource nodes.
- Pickpocketing an NPC.
- Additionally, each of the event’s four non-repeatable quests, including “Heartsick Follies” (which starts the chain), grant a parcel for completion.

During the event period, you can earn Mara’s Parcels in several ways, but primarily by completing adventuring tasks with friends.

That sounds like the main way is with a group or companion, but there are other ways possible, too.

i tried without a companion a delve boss and got none, with companion it worked
and yes i wondert because of the "primarily "

I did the non-repeatable quests. It is possible that those four quests (or rather the first one) give you tickets in any case, whether you are grouped or not, and only the other activities (defeating a boss and so on) require a group/companion? I guess I will see that tomorrow.

edit: I got the tickets on completion of the first non-repeatable quest, from the big khajiit. I was not grouped or had a companion active. Coming to think of it, that's probably why I did not get tickets for the delve boss you need to kill during this quest. So yes, you probably need companions active or be in a group. No idea why I got the tickets from the khajiit, then. Perhaps an oversight.

So it's not at all clear how to get tickets for this event.

I've killed and looted several delve bosses and gotten nothing. Do I have to be in a group or have a companion? Not clear.

Thanks for this thread. I did the first quest from the Khajiit in Belkarth but that is about all the time I had today. I think I got tickets, I sure hope so. Why are the events starting on Wednesday instead of Thursday now?

If I am not doing the other event quests I will be sure to keep a companion out. I still have Azandar and Zerith-var to level up. I did not have any out for the delve boss in Craglorn because companions have had a tendency to bug out quests at times in the past for others.

i got my tickets for my ault accounts without companion as they dont have any unlocked by doing the quest ill see tomorrow if i can get some other way
