    Hi all,

The Real Endgame (a large ESO Housing community on Discord – https://discord.gg/8A9XByfhxV ) is hosting a survey about Map-exclusive Antiquities. We're seeking player input on Treasure Map Leads for Antiquity furnishings from a housing perspective. Responses will be shared with the Devs, who've recently responded to a popular thread regarding this issue. (The sent responses will be anonymized.)

Please come take the quick survey and share your map data:
    https://forms.gle/Yx4D6gqzKf4Lzvc47

And feel free to share with other housers who'd be interested in improving this system for all players!

    Further info:

My data from tests this summer:
130+ maps used in total, only 1 item codex-unlocked 3/3 to buy, and a gap of 2 months & 76 Maps with NO leads:

T...As for complaint 4 ... Sorry for vagueposting, and maybe I'm already saying too much, but there is more to it than just "bad RNG". What I will say is that it seems to be entirely intentional so there is no exploit here or anything (I would have reported that). That's all I'll say, otherwise you will start buying up all the treasure maps away from me and the knowledge I gained stops being useful. xD

If you've found out something useful regarding Maps, I wish you would share. As stated above, a bunch of us have been making efforts towards improving this issue for all – testing, sharing our results and insights. We learn through one another. It's stupid that players have to do this boring, demoralizing wild goose chase for every new update, and sometimes can't even get leads for years. As has already been detailed in the above links by myself and others, maps are not even worth thinking about as a sellable: they are not regularly farmable; the drop rates are so low that a player can go do any other gold-making activities to earn tens of millions of gold in the same few months they'd have gotten ~3 Solstice maps / ~150k on PC NA.

It is a good addition. It reduces the pressure many players feel when they're just starting (e.g. the game itself, Antiquities, returning, et cetera). They're often running around all different zones doing all sorts of things, alone or with new friends/guilds/groups, and picking up 101 different random leads, many of which they don't have the skill yet to scry and excavate for.
If you can be anything, be kind.
