Remove Saddle Option for Mounts in Houses

I love Indriks, they're my favorite creature and mount in the game. I want to collect all of them and have them roaming in an enchanted forest home im building. But the saddles on them, make them look kinda silly. I want them to look like wild Indrinks roaming in the forest, so the saddles on them pretty much ruin the aesthetic. I would like the option for mounts in homes to be able to hide the saddle on them.

I would personally love the ability to remove the saddles on all the mounts whether you are riding them or not. Let us ride bareback and bridleless!

But definitely yes to the idea of the mounts being without tack in houses.

Sameeeeee. I have wanted this for a long time too. The mounts being permanently on ruin so many ideas I've had for housing related stuff over the years. Please give us options to have our zoos or wild biomes in houses.

It would be nice if we could Hide Horse armor or change the Tack....I mean we could Customize our mounts one the cro....errrrr nevermind.....

^^ Yes, please!! I'd be a lot more interested in mounts if we could see them in their natural (or magical, rather) beauty.

I think this is a good idea. It will look more natural for mounts when they are in stables if they aren't constantly wearing saddles.

Agreed, especially in housing builds. Either a way to toggle tack on and off when they are paced as a "furnishing" or give the full ability to change it even out in content, just as there is an option to show or hide the various tack upgrades... add one more option for "hide tack" or "no tack".

Agreed. I'd love to have my mounts roaming around my home without their bridles/saddles and armour on.

It would also be nice to have the option to ride bareback or remove head/body armour too. There are some mounts whose heads are too obscured by their armour IMHO and when I can't see their eyes or it looks impractical, I want to remove it :D

I'd like to be able to show mount upgrades when you have one in your house too.

I agree with this! I understand it might not be high on the to-do list but this would be a nice QOL change.

Been asked numerous times over the years, sadly not a word.

As mounts it would likely be too much work on existing mounts, because our characters will float above them, but giving an option when mounts are used as furnishing would be great. It looks so weird using mounts in houses when they got all the tack on.

They could also make some new bareback and bridlesss mounts. Surprised we actually haven't gotten one yet. But guessthey prefer to just make recolours.

I know it'd be a bit more work but it would be cool to have similar to Diablo 4 where you could trade out different mount saddles with another style wise. Sometimes I like a mount but hate the saddle design, or sometimes the saddle design is amazing but the mount is not to my liking. Obviously some of it would have to be locked to type (like heavyweight mounts are made to fit them and not standard horses, etc) but I think it could open up new depths of character customization and that is one of my favorite things in the games I play.

Edit to add ui example for those who don't play D4:

In the files, saddles are separate from the actual mount model, just like the upgrades you can get and turn on and off at anytime, so they could definitely add an option to hide the saddle too.

Do wish there was more mount customizing. Like at least give me the option to turn the glowing effects off some mounts.

That's surprising, even in the promotional art mounts always have a saddle, so I assumed they'd be part of the base model. It's good news they're not though, because that means it could be possible for ZOS to give us the option to remove it.

I'd like to be able to do that, at least for mounts in homes. Even if you have them as mounts in a stable or paddock (as opposed to using them like wild creatures roaming around) it looks ood that they've still got saddles and tack on, because in real life you wouldn't leave their tack on once you got back home.

In furnishings, they could simply make a "saddle/no saddle" toggle by "activation" - like turning lamps on and off.

This is what I was thinking.

There are so many mounts that have such pretty textures (and I am just talking about the horses! I haven't even really looked at other mounts), but they are covered by the saddle and bridle. Being able to remove those would go a long way to showcasing those pretty textures!

Yes, it should be super easy for them to do that, by the way, even the armor on mounts are also part of the saddle model, so they'd also be removable.
