Heart Week XP question

Does the companion XP boost combine with XP Boost scrolls [So 200% increase during the event with a 100% XP Boost]. I usually leveled my companions during double XP events cause I was lead to believe companions get a % [if not all] of the XP you earn from killing NPC's

Presumably, yes, the increase will be affected by experience scrolls.

Companions gain 15% of the experience you earn from combat, which increases to 20% at Friendly rapport, 25% at Close rapport, 30% at Allied rapport, and 35% at Companion rapport.

The article says "a 100% increased rate" rather than "doubled," so the boost will likely be to 115%, 120%, 125%, 130%, and 135%.

So with a 100% experience scroll, you'd gain double exp, and your companion would gain 115-135% of that amount.

Hi All. Yes, XP scrolls do impact leveling during the event. However, it's not a doubling the percentage though. The math is additive, not multiplicative. So the math that @PrinceShroob provided is a good example.

Ok so just for clarity, as I have read the event page again...and again, and it does not state that the player gets double XP, unless I missed it. What I see that it says is the COMPANION gets the XP boost. And with Kevin saying that the scroll affects the Companion's event XP boost....additively...yes I get that. But are you saying that this event is a PLAYER double XP event as well?

To get a boost to player XP this event, it seems to be BYOB (Bring Your Own Buffs): an XP scroll/potion, ESO+, Ring of Mara, Mora’s Whispers, grouping with another player, training trait, etc.

Edited to fix the inherited misquote.
