The problem of veteran trial in the grouping tools

"We need 1 tank for last boss of Vet Ossein Cage."
"Need to knowledge of mech."

<-- These

...Well... I don't have experience Vet trial (many of Vet dungeon though) .
I knew some mech failure ( like portal of Vet ) will wipe team though.

I've already finished as tank of every normal trial.
Some of normal sticker board is already filled, so it's time to do Vet trial.
But..."Need to knowledge of mech." Does this mean experience of Vet mech?

I think grouping tool is not perfect solution to spread out end-game challenge chance for the
players.

I mean honestly, just watch a video of the boss. There's plenty of tutorial and Tank pov videos of every trial. It's definitely nothing like vet dungeon or normal runs. You really need some semblance of an idea before going in blind, especially as a tank in there.

Join a guild that does training runs. Ideally you'll be pared with an experienced tank who can help you learn and and cover some mistakes while you are learning.
If you are just starting out Tanking Vet Trials, do NOT start with the more recently released ones. They are MUCH harder.

I just simply thought, If you want to gather Vet trial well experienced players, then
had better call guild people, not grouping tools.

Grouping tools is more casual purpose than guild calling.
Expecting player quality for grouping tool is wrong.

Run with guild mates or friends just means you can know these people you run with before they join the group.
You can expect they join the voice or explain mechs, while the FG people randomly can do it of not.

As for experience, some GF players may be way more experienced than your guild mates. Some may be first timers.
Some of my runs with GF people were way more smooth than with guilds.
GF is not more casual. It is just more chaotic.
All these requirements in GF description are just slight attempts to tame this chaos :)

Also if your guild run lacks of people and all the "tanks my friend may know" are out of reach, you'll go to GF anyway. Or cancel the run :)
So actually you can get into somebody's guild run with GF. Years ago I joined two trial progression statics this way :)
The border between GF and guild runs is not so strict really.

Yes, that means you know all the mechanics of veteran trial and can manage them as a tank.

Join some guild training run to do you first vet runs in a new role is the best piece if advice here.
It will ease your learning curve dramatically.
