The problem is pretty obvious. You, like everyone else I have seen complain about this set, just want to be able to get out of every single form of damage by spamming roll dodge and getting away, such is evident from your own video. You attempt to roll dodge out of all instance of threat and get pulled in, if you had simply blocked, after the delayed pull, you would not be pulled. The current iteration of RoA is extremely easy to play against. It requires a skill to proc, the person proccing it is generally very obvious, and the delay combined with the visual indicator is very telegraphed.
Your position isn't updated until the entire roll dodge animation is completed so you aren't even out of the AoE.
Even before RoA was nerfed people bombing would still choose to run dark con because RoA required being in melee range. If a group is running you down you will probably die anyway when you are that vastly outnumbered, but complaining about it when you can see in your own video that you are misplaying is silly.
Charm on the other hand should be at least fixed because it will bug you and pull you through the map.

Both charm and ROA need to be removed from pvp.

Since the nerf, RoA has become easy to block. I can’t remember the last time I got pulled by it. Once you learn to block it, it becomes second nature. Ballgroups have opted for soul burst pulls and even Void Bash since RoA is so unreliable now.
As for Warden Charm, this needs to go.
katanagirl1 wrote: »In the second clip, I am trying to position myself so I can drop a negate on the ball group, that is why I am where I am.
Boy, how easy it is to get the RoA wearers to come out of the wood work.

Why do people assume 50% mitigation is enough to save you from multiple Vicious Death procs?
Rush of Agony breaks two rules that have been established for years. You can dodge pulls, and you get CC immunity when pulled.
If you block, you die from everyone who got pulled, if you dodge, you die from being pulled, the common suggestion I’m seeing is “streak out” yet you need one of 21 skill lines, and 1 of 5 active skills within that skill line just to counter a rule breaking set.
So yes, people will watch that second clip and not realize how disgusting that is to watch, let alone deal with.

One player is removed from being able to control their character any time CC is applied to them until they break free or it ends. Do you want CC removed entirely from the game? No? Then that's a complexly useless point to make. Why don't you instead actually make some point as to why it should be removed. You misplayed and were punished because of it. Try blocking.

I could not block the RoA pull in the second video because I was avoiding getting run over by the ball group in the second clip and tried to dodge roll out of the way.. Yes, I know to block but there are times that you can’t. If I had blocked then I would not have withstood the damage of all those guys ulti dumping inside the RoA circle. That, or some guy on my team in the circle would have forgot to block and I would have died to a VD proc. You don’t just stand there and block when a ball group is steamrolling like that.
Now I have to get ready for a vet trial so I have to go for now.

So don't stack on multiple people? This is just another misplay being punished. There is nothing disgusting about the second clip except the players lack of ability to just hold block and complain after they get pulled.

So disingenuous. You don’t need to stack, as the ones using Rush of Agony CREATE the stacks. 😂

That only happens when the players you are fighting don't know how to play the game. Any half decent pvp player can avoid rush 100% of the time.

HAHAHHAHA it CREATES the stack?? No way, It pulled people who weren't even in the keep all the way to a stack of players randomly picked because people didn't block??? LOLOLOL. No. The players are right on top of each other, what are you yapping about.

I have never seen an actual good reason to remove RoA. I play against it daily, it will pull me once every maybe 20 or so pulls. If you are under CC immunity it does literally nothing to you, even if you aren't you just right click. Charm is actually game breaking and bugs your character. I have not seen someone bugged by RoA pull in a long time and the instances in which it does are far less often. Charm as well as templar javelin constantly bug people into walls or desync them. RoA is perfectly fine, it's a learn to play issue for most players.

It's an aoe pull sets. These should not exist in a pvp game. We can agree to disagree I guess. We are all entitled to our opinions.
