Unable to Connect to Game Server

I have been getting this error since the server maintenance on 7 Jan 2026. This happened every few minutes into the game in all zones. While I was connected, my skills and interactions with NPCs or objects kick in only after few seconds. I did a pathping and the logs showed 100% data loss between Akamai and ESO servers. This is where the problem is.

I have logged a case and also provided the logs. However, till now there is no resolution, and I have also not heard from anyone on any updates.

    After 1 week, the problem is still unresolved. I have no issues with playing on EU server. The problem is with US server. I get in-game latency of 200+ for EU server and 999+ for US server. This is consistent with the pathping results I posted earlier, which points to a bottleneck at the Akamai and ESO servers.

    After 3 weeks, ZOS is still not responding on this issue. According to my logs, ZOS is routing traffic based on geographical location. When I connect through a VPN hence masking my origin, I have no problems. Why does ZOS have this unfair and biased treatment?
