Stamblade in pvp is eh? Advice?

Decided to take my pure old nightblade for a spin in cyrodiil rocking stuhns, spriggan's and balorgh. Tried out shadow/lover mundus. I'd have have my buffs up, open with ambush out of stealth into SA and KB. Kills were very rare, most people are crazy tanky and the first few hits don't even leave a mark. The only people that do die are the ones where about 25% of their health goes right in the beginning.

Basically, it just fails at ganking for the most part and I'm only rarely lucky to get away with cloak.

Yes, people are very tanky. But your setup also is really outdated, stuhns and spriggans are both outperformed by other sets, like shattered fate. And pureclass nightblade isn´t that great either. Siphoning is more or less a wasted skill line (sadly) where you could have more crit damage instead. And do you wanna gank or play bruiser/rollerblade? The meta setup would be something like rallying cry, shattered fate/null arca and balorgh with monomyth and 1 piece trainee.
But I get if you don´t wanna play the meta. I dislike the meta and it´s boring, but if you actually wanna have a shot at beating people it´s more or less unavoidable, especially nowadays.

Edit: ambush is also a bad skill, if you´re not using rush of agony there´s no reason to use it. And if you wanna gank you should get some proc sets, like flame blossom and anthelmir´s.

Ganking is what I’m going for, don’t see point in brawler…I would play dk for that instead.

I’m against subclassing, I would only pure class
