Brand new and looking for a guild.

Hello all

As the title says, I am brand new, and would love to find a guild to join, I will tell you a few things about me, and about what I would like to find in a guild.

I am from the UK, and only speak English. I am 57 years old, and love to game, I cannot work in real life due to illness's but I won't go into that, so I do have quite a lot of free time to play.
My play hours can be any time from 8am GMT to 10pm GMT (I am not on my PC all those hours lol, just those are the hours I could play)

What am I looking for in a guild....Somewhere to call home from early in my ESO adventures, I do not want any hand outs at all, I want to try and find my own treasures and gears etc. What I do want is somewhere to chat and make friends, ask advice on things I am trying to learn, offer advice to maybe newer players when I have more experience in the game, have some friends to do any group content with. I cannot say anything more than this as I do not know what the game holds behind what I have found out just from a little reading I have done.

So I am about to make my character very soon, I am thinking about making a Templar, it sounds kind of like a Paladin, melee fighter with heals!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read, I really hope that some guilds find that I might be interesting and are willing to open their doors to let me in and become a part of what they have already created, and allow me to help it grow.

So I have payed for ESO Plus and made my character on EU server!

I made a Nord Templar.

Character name is Valiance Oathkeeper.

Still hoping to hear from a guild that will take me in

Hey @Valiance_Streaming, welcome to ESO!

This game has one of the best communities of any MMO and I'm sure there are many guilds that you'll find a great fit with. I'm a PCNA player, so I can't make any recommendations that would help you.

While some may reply to the post, it's easy to find guilds within the game as well.

Watch zone chat, guilds use it to recruit all the time and almost always provide a link to their guild application screen, which will should give you a great idea what playstyle(s) they cater to. (social, trading, pvp, dungeons, housing, etc).

You can also browse guilds, by category with the built-in "Guild Finder".
From within the game, hit "G" for the guilds screen, then use the drop down window at the top left to select the Guild Finder. You can then directly reply to any that feel like a good fit.

Also, you can be in up to 5 guilds at once. It may take a little trial and error, but I'm confident you'll find a great guild (or guilds) to be a part of!

I am currently in The Wailing Prison, working my way through it.

I did not know I could look for guilds in game through a guild finder, so I will take a look there now!
