Armor sets: Recovery Convergence how does it work?

Doesn't seem like there's a cool down, other than the innate 20s synergy cooldown
So if you can get 100k overhealing in/around 20s then that'd be the best uptime but I would think that much might take longer?
Depends if it counts 100k per individual target or cumulatively for the whole group ?

Does someone know more by any chance?

I haven't tried it, but I'm 99.9% sure it's cumulative. The text is pretty straight forward.

6886 recovery per 20 seconds is roughly equivalent to 688 recovery for the entire group.

The text does not indicate either way whether it is per target or for the whole group.

PS: You can't take a synergy more than once per second, so if it gives you a synergy then you get a 20s cooldown

It's the overhealing you (the set wearer) are doing.

For context: 100,000 overhealing is absolutely nothing. Overhealing in ESO is laughable.

In a veteran dungeon a healer will be healing around ~1,500HPS, but their total healing will be ~15,000HPS making an overheal of ~13,500HPS. So this set in a dungeon will always have the synergy proc every 20 seconds.

In a trial, healing done ~3,500HPS, total healing ~35,000HPS. Overhealing over 30,000

Never get involved in a land war in Asia - it's one of the classic blunders!

So Recov Convergence is relatively easy. You just equip it and heal. Even in a PVP environment, you will overheal A LOT, and those overheals start adding up until you reach 100k total overhealed, at which point it procs a synergy. So long as you hit the synergy, your group gets a massive amount of resources restored to them.

In my experience, the synergy is almost always up on your synergy cooldown, usually every 10-15 seconds or so.

I really enjoy this set in Group Finder vTrials because it really helps inexperienced players (especially tanks) with their resources. Newer tanks tend to permablock and get Stammed-out and this set basically eliminates that from happening.

You must reach the overheal condition first. This only builds in combat and counts group overheals.
The final overheal that triggers the synergy is an active skill, not a HOT.
There is no CD on the overheal count, but there is a CD on the synergy. Right now this actually sits at 20s.
You can build your next overheal trigger while the synergy is on cooldown.

    For best rotation you must:
    1. Reach 5000 OHPS
    2. Cast an active heal to trigger synergy every 20s.
    3. Use the synergy asap to put it on cooldown again.
This is indeed 688,6 recovery in best case, but you usually lose a second or so due to step 2 and 3.

If you are in a group setting, and use combat prayer or something, two tapping is generally enough to reach the OHPS with some other HOTs ticking. So all you really have to care about is just using the synergy on CD I would say.

This set has quickly become a fav for my healer. Very useful in PVE, nuts in PvP. It is the equivalent of giving everyone Wretched Vitality in the group. B)

    This set is glorious.

Our healer in my dungeon and trial group wears it, and I literally cannot run out of resources. It makes everything so easy that when I run with a group without it, I am shocked by how much I have to struggle to even block sometimes.

Only thing you need is a competent healer who can keep everyone topped up, and the group never needs to worry about resources again.
