This is a niche set in sense. Alot of people don't use it probably for PVE. I run it on my "burn the players to ash" build on DK in battlegrounds. As it is now it ticks on every 3rd dot. Since searing and other dot is 24 seconds it evens out. Now seeing on PTS that the dots gonna be 10 seconds. It will have to be on every 2nd dot to balance it out, cause 10 seconds it to short to get your bang for the buck.
Yes with the right set to run with it and your skill bar, runecarver melts people in battlegrounds. I know about other dots, we all probably thinking that ZOS is gonna shorten all class dots like they doing DK. So runecarver need to be adjusted. Lastly the damage will have to go up for the short time on the dots also.

ViggyBoi✭✭✭That's already how it works. The 10 second dot still only ticks ever 2 seconds on PTS and the damage has been increased to compensate for the shortened timer. honestly I kind of wish DK dots ticked every second.Edited by ViggyBoi on January 20, 2026 11:27PM1
