Was talking to a friend today and she reminded me of something, anyone remember like..maybe 6-7 years ago, when for a couple months quite a few people couldn't download the updates to ESO on the launcher and they had to get someone to put the update on a downloadable link and manually install it? Did ESO ever say what exactly was causing that, cause eventually it stopped and updates worked again

The one that affected me and a few others was post 2014. I just know when it was happening to me I was seeing a few posts with people saying they were having the same issue, something about the update from the launcher triggering peoples firewalls with no work-around. Was a sticky post I think that had links so you could download the latest updates then just drag/drop it into your ESO folder. I didn't know it was still going on for some people though
