It's a compilation of popular requests from the community (on the forums, reddit, in-game, discords, etc.) Most are general – features or items that would help a wide variety of builders, NOT just specific items individuals want.

Things like Weather Control and big landscaping items have been fantastically helpful! Thank you!

Hope to see more great features, improvements to major new features like Home Tours and tab-select, items, and fixes (*cough* like the Argonian Houseboat ladder and Stone-Next Gazebo *cough* xD) in 2026. I also hope to see meaningful adjustments to related systems like Leads from Treasure Maps. (Links just for reference & more info.)

We got some of them as furniture in the Carnaval pack, but not all. Those red Solitude tents would be lovely.

other wishes
- more Bosmer homes, specifically with water like a river, pond, waterfall.
None of the current Bosmer homes have access to water, even the new Chapel of Julianos which has water that we cannot access.

- more desks.
We did not get desks in the High isle, Necrom, and Colovian styles even though there are assets of them in their zones.

- portals/furniture that connects homes.
Could be actual magic portals, but carts or boats would work well too.
Or in the case of Fair Winds and Aldmeri Grotto,
Speecial Furnishings shaped like the ships that we can put at docks in our homes.

- more houses as furniture, such as Dock Shed and Druidic Hut
A little house from each zone style would be awesome.

- Let us align structural furnishings together?
It can be challenging putting doors into doorways or putting walls on floors precisely.

Some of the things I have wanted most are:

Mushroom barrels for crafting areas
Furnishing plants for housing gardens with both food items like corn, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. and flowering plants (not harvestable) and of course we would need dirt and stakes
Archery targets, straw target dummies, and weapon racks, and weapons to hang on walls like shields and swords
That round sharpening stone for swords I see in crafting areas and the spinning wheels for thread
These items are already in the game.

As I mentioned previously in another thread, we also need complete sets of structural furnishings for each style instead of the few pieces we currently have. There are also older styles that we have only a few items like Redguard.

I would also like a way to enter a creative mode within my houses where I could have access to all housing items to design and build and get a tally of how many materials I would need to build it, it does not need a save feature though that would be great if it did for project purposes. I know this is a big wish but having a sandbox to decorate without creating expensive furnishings that might not work would be a big motivator for me personally and perhaps others who are not into housing currently. We all know how costly this activity is for us. I know there is the PTS for PC players but console does not have this.

Two features that would make me happy for the entirety of 2026..

Snap To for placing furnishings.

And adding Search to the crafting stations that can search all stations globally. Both in the form of a search field, and filter toggles. Seriously... with the massive number of furnishing plans to manage today, how is this not already a thing?

My biggest wish is to assign Emotes to Houseguests at Nodes, and also a way to have the Houseguests use interactable furnishings like chairs!

Well. I know what I’ll be doing after U49 launches in March – fussing with old houses!🤣😭

So excited for this, and love that some houses are even getting bumped up to the next limit!

I agree wholeheartedly with everything here!

I think MoonPile has put together a list of pretty much everything. Hoping that the housing devs will actually take an interest and look at it.

I understand that probably the majority of housing activities in game are not "from scratch" builders. However, I feel strongly that whenever ZoS use our houses in their promotional screenshots, or housing focus, or competitions they primarily use "from scratch" builds to shoiwcase what can be done, and the extremely creative and awesome art that people create.

As such, I also strongly believe that the main thrust of what THAT part of the community needs more than anything else is structural pieces. We want walls/floors/doorways/arches etc etc from ALL the available styles. We NEED a range of all of these, in various sizes (unless some kind of scaling can be achieved, but I imagine simply adding to the existing database of pieces would be easier?!?).

We NEED roofing pieces, from small triangular gable pieces, to roofs themselves. Again, in ALL styles and in various sizes. We NEED stairway pieces. We NEED doorways that fit the actual doors in game.

I think if we had those things then the shouting about more slots would be less important. I actually like the challenge of having to be creative within the slot limit, but sometimes we have to use so many pieces to create something that it runs up against the limit quicker.

And please ... by the divines ... weapons and armour. For the love of the gods ... please. Weapons and armour in a game centred on weapons and armour. Even if they are just some generic swords, staves, shields, armour pieces that can be found all over Tamriel - surely the necessary coding is there? Make them lux furnishings, make them crown store ... I dunno, but just make them for goodness sakes.

EDIT : Oh yeah ... and one more shout out for furnishings DECON!!! We all have so many storage homes. Yes, the furnishing vault helped. But it was but a scatch on the surface of the real issue of being forced to horde bound items that come with any "unfurnished" house purchase (sometimes nearly 200 items). Decon of furnishings is a MUST HAVE.

OMG yes! I want more life and roleplay in my houses. I want Bastian to practice his flute and Sharp to dance when nobody's watching. Also an interactable bed so us and our friends can finally get some sleep.

And some 'common' furnishings like boots, maybe a simple sword or staff you can put in the corner. But mostly boots.

Besides my never-ending wish for more transparent windows, different roofs, more comfortable sofas, more bathtubs, and a gardening system for growing plants, I would like to reiterate my urgent request for 2026: please finally make the Chamber Pot Throne available for purchase in the Housing Store!

Oh and have houseguests interact with each other. if you set them to arrive at the same node, have them start talking to each other, gesturing and emoting.

Have houseguest react to their surroundings. If you dance near one, they clap or cheer, for instance. Interacting with the Jester houseguest by laughing at his antics. Grabbing a mug off the Keldora's platter when she walks by. If seated at a New life feast, have them raise glasses in toast, drink, eat off the plate, etc.

Need some life to the houses when houseguests are included.

Occasionally other players' suggestions improve upon ideas!
For example, Re: the "collectible, 1-slot “Crafting Rotunda”" I suggested in the list, another houser (Crimson!) mentioned wanting an all-discipline crafting assistant. Basically the same idea: instead of multiple slots spent on stations, condense crafting into 1 collectible slot. But an assistant is a potentially better way of solving the same problem since it would be accessible everywhere, not only in Housing.

Or, if you just agree with specific points on the Master List, even simple "I'd also like XYZ" comments are helpful.

For me it is mostly for crafting guilds.
- Consumable Crafting Writ Board
- Equipment Crafting Writ Board
- Delivery Crate furnishing to turn in writs
- Allow Grand Master Stations to look like any collected crafting station. That way any antiquity or any other collected station doesn't become just an achievement hunt.

It would be great if there were a wider range of furnishings released for each set. I always see style furnishings in the world for which there is no obtainable model. For example, the fur draped Solitude chairs seen in the Blue Palace, or the Necrom desk seen in the entrance chamber of the Necrom Fighters Guild. The unavailability of the Necrom desk particularly baffled me cause the whole concept of scholarship was so central to the Necrom chapter.

I can understand that there could be a practical reason why specific furnishings aren't made available, but apart from that, what's the purpose of limiting the furnishing release? I used to think it was to keep players coming back for the Luxury vendor, but these furnishings never come to that vendor. Please just release the whole set! The model is already in the world?

There's also a rustic set from the base game, as like appears in the entrance cave to Bad Man's Hallows. It would be awesome if these furnishings could be available too.

Sorry if I have been wrong and these furnishings have already become avaialble. I went looking for them repeatedly in the past and couldn't find them. Thanks

Not that I have any say at all in what gets prioritized or made by the Devs, but it may help to see if any of the existing popular wishes on the Master List in the OP resonate with players now.

Strongly agree, I've wanted this since the housing system was introduced, but so much time has passed, and the decorations still lack the most basic swords and axes that can be hung on the wall or stored on stands. We can easily build libraries, magic labs, and alchemy greenhouses, but for armories, we have to create decorations from numerous parts, wasting valuable slots.

Please, if any of the devs are reading this, fix this imbalance and provide something for military armories so we don't have to pretend that flagpoles are spears like in this beatiful build:

Treasure Maps should drop leads every single time and the lead drops should be curated.

The drop chances are super low and the map locations are hard enough to find, even if you know the location the dirt mounds are very hard to see.

I especially really would love portals in Housing to easily travel in houses.
But also portals to travel to other houses, use the wagon and boat furnishings!

Please increase drop chances for Furnishings, Furnishing plans, and Antiquity Furnishing Leads.

Please decrease prices for Achievement furnishings. We acquired the achievement already, why must we also get 250k for a Nord Fishing Boat or 100k for the Moon Gate?
