Not getting tickets for Whitestrake's Mayhem 2026?

As the title says. Been completing daily QUESTS in Cyro and IP, by going and talking to the NPC that gave them to complete the quests. Getting the boxes, but not any tickets. Started today with 6, still have 6, after completing a bunch of daily quests. So not at the 12 ticket cap. Not getting any tickets from the boxes either, although I don't think that is how it ever worked in the past. So its two or three days now, I guess I've lost 6-9 tickets.

Whitestrake’s Mayhem doesn't start until next week on Jan 21; you're a bit early.

Don't feel too bad. The fact that the current GP includes an endeavour for collecting event tickets but started well before Whitestrakes is a bit confusing.
