I'm hunting my second iteration of this lead, for the Glyphic Secrets Music Box. I have had the other leads for it dug up for (probably) well over a year now. I have done this daily quest dozens if not hundreds of times - no lead.

I am no stranger to the RNG - 82 kills of Timbershade, 73 kills of Four Skull Lookout in search of a lead. But, what I have always found with leads that drop from coffers is that if you dig up all the other leads for that antiquity, the coffer lead will typically drop within 1 - 5 coffers. I repeat: I have opened dozens, if not hundreds of Necrom Daily Bastion Nymic Reward Coffers and I do not have this lead.

I'm hesitant to call it bugged, but it sure feels like it, and at the very least the drop rate needs massively increasing.

I got this lead recentlyish when I was hunting my second version of it. By recentlyish I mean within the past two or three months, it took me about a month and a half of doing it daily. I've had other leads that I've had much more issue with though and like you have taken me a year or more of attempts. I've posted several times about how the lead system needs more reliable progression and the droprate of second and third copies of leads really shouldn't be reduced like they are. It is very hard to tell if leads are bugged or not currently except through word of mouth and personal anecdotes.

That being said, no harm in zos looking to confirm it's not bugged like they have with other leads.

Thanks for the info. I've been farming it on and off for more than a year at this point, not every day but as I said well into the double, if not triple digits.

Personally I'd like to see ZOS implement restrospectively what they did with GR and SotWC leads, where 1st iterations are ~100%, and then extend it so that 2nd iterations are ~67%, 3rd are 33% then 4th onwards are at the current arbritary rates ZOS currently set.

Codex entries are the last non-curated grind in the game and I don't understand their thinking. I'm farming the 3rd iteration of the JC station from IA, and to get it I've got about half the other IA leads ready to scry but already have 3 codex entries for them. No doubt when I get the other half the last of the JC leads will actually drop.
