Do we feel "the grind" in games is trending downwards?
It seems like it, to me, that games still have some grind, but it's more muzzled and leads to more accomplishments and miniaccomplishments along the pathway.

It depends on the game. ZOS have taken many key steps over the years to reduce the grind. Other games like Black Desert embrace it.
