NEW Dye "Glittering Gold" PTS 49

Has anyone looked at the new Glittering Gold dye in detail and can provide photos? That would be well appreciated!! Cheers guys

I may be mistaken but I believe that’s from the Night Market which isn’t available to test until next week.

Still sad as to no good brown but I understand why none of these are brown.

Okay, that's not bad! I'd love a non-metallic yellow sometime but this is could work for some outfits. Thank you for posting the pics!

I saw shorts and got excited, then I zoomed in and saw the long underwear and now I'm sad again

I tested the gold on many things the other day. It's actually a quite nice dandelion yellow, but with a shine. Still not the Mornard yellow, but yeah. The previous example posted honestly looks deceptively more orange than it shows on what things I've tested.

more examples inside the spoiler; I tried to pick a wide variety of materials to show a good idea of how the dye applies to them
All dyes slots are Glittering Gold
No reshade or other graphical addons in these screenshots, max vanilla graphics settings

I will compile more examples here.

Good to know that my lighting setup is still a bit orange. I was in the Doomchar Plataeu. I tried balancing out the orange with blue lights but I guess I need a few more haha!

You legend! Thanks! Really appreciate your effort tho! Very pretty gold imo. Either not that shiny or matte and well balanced. Still doesnt look like e. g. Doctrine Ordinator Style. Can't wait to get my hands on it when its live.

How hard is it to unlock this gold dye? Will it require months of grind, meant to be really rare, or is it a bit more on the accessible side, unlockable by every type of player?

EDIT: I'm not complaining, just genuinely curious

It depends. You need to pledge to the Glittering Goad faction and you can do one faction per account per Night Market. I forget the exact number but on the pts doing 12 hours of testing (which sometimes was just me running around screenshotting things and not earning points) I got about 800 points. You may be able to get more with a more optimal farm or less if you aren't grouped/can't mow down ads but it should be relatively easy to get 10,000 favor if you are playing the Night Market regularly during the season.

Generally it looks like if you want to unlock everything you will have to do at least three Night Markets, one on each faction and put in at least some effort.

Mmmh, by the look of this it seems around 100 hours will need to be dedicated. I'll see; probably a lot will depend on if I'll find players to group with to farm. (Thanks btw)

Patrons gold is behind ToT so I think many skip it. Divine gold is not much "metallic"; this one seems very shiny in comparison.
