Inv Quest-Item stating useable, but it isn't - Leather-Bound Tome (MQ Shadowfen/Skin-Stealer's Lair)

Sorry, if somewhere an equal post is existing.
As part of Cadwell's Silver i'm in Shadowfenn, following the zone quest.
While The Skin-Stealer's Lair is active i enter the ruins of Ten-Maur-Wolk and meet Lyranth.
After speaking with her i found a Quest-Item in my Inventory - Leather-Bound Tome, which is stating: use to read contents.
I'm playing the german version (PC EU), but in english it seems to state the same --> https://esoitem.uesp.net/itemLink.php?&questid=3984&quality=5
Neither a doubleclick, nor the use-bound key, nor "use" from the rightclick-context menu does anything.
After freeing Lyranth the book was gone, so i cancelled the Quest and took it on again until the point i have it in my inventory again.
Don't want to miss a single story part, nor an Eidetic Memory entry.
Since quest-items usually do have a different title than Eidetic Memory entries, i can't figure out, if it is part of it - and which book that may be.
If anyone have an idea, please let me know.
The bug may be the non-usability - or it is a wrong text.
Would be nice to know, when it is just no more readable, because the content once was removed - so i can just skip it and go ahead, instead of waiting for a fix.

The book seems to be Skin-Stealers, which once was removed from the game.
