Depends on a few things build and group wise but the simple explanation is that if you don't need the pen from tideborn, like in an organized trial where major+minor breach, crusher and runic sunder/kosh are provided and you are bringing the pen a standard beamer should be bringing, then deadly is noticably better

If the line is needed then it depends on math I am not doing for you

But they generally perform pretty closely with deadly winning cause of buffing things like languid eye and rage of elements
