They said all new content, including classes, will be free for everyone... But what about the ones already released?

I don't see that they would be. Some old content is being added to base game (and I wouldn't be surprised if it all will be in time) but warden wasn't made free when Vvardenfell was so I doubt the others will either

As yet, none of the Classes have ever been made available outside of the respective Chapter purchase, a subsequent Premium purchase, or a la carte purchase.

We also see that not all DLC is going free. They said that in 2026 we will get basegame TG, DB, IC, Orsinium, and eventually Greymoor, but all other DLCs are implied to still be separate DLC, at least for now. They also did not mention if Solstice would be moving to ESO+ as would be expected this year.

Even if we look at when Chapters went to DLC though, the separate Classes were never included in ESO+ and needed to be purchased separately.

Old content isn't free, just the new stuff. The exception is the year one dlc (Orsinium, Thieves' Guild, Dark Brotherhood).

and Greymoor in late 2026, which means other dlc will probably become free too

    edit addition:
but i am not expecting classes to become free, just zone dlc as that is currently planned

They said in the information released that they would be bringing Morrowind, Imperial City, Dark Brotherhood & Thieves' Guild to the base game, meaning everyone will have access to it. This is why Warden is now included. They'll be doing the same for Greymoor later this year. It appears that their plan is to move forward through old content up to this point and make it all free minus upcoming Tamriel Tomes (battle passes) & other paid cosmetics and skips in the store. I imagine they'll have to largely re-work ESO+ with that as well as it'll provide less and less value over time outside of the crafting bag (hopefully they'll just bring that to the crown store with a flat crown amount and we can move away from the optional subscription model entirely).

Warden is becoming base game with update 49. So I imagine that the odds are thst eventually the other 2 classes will as well.

My speculation is that they will do so right before or when those classes get their reworks done.
