Just as the sixteen kingdoms were not always one, so too were the faiths of the Khajiit many-fold.
In guiding Khajiit along his one true path of the moons, Riddle'Thar hid from us all the others.
But if you are wise, you may catch glimpses of where the walkers of old have tread.

Hi! As some may remember, several months ago I made my own website about ESO (things I like and know well). It is mostly in Russian, because, well, I believe there are A LOT of guides on every aspect of game in English, written by people knowing English much better and writing without tons of mistakes, and it would also be a lot of work to write everything in two languages.
With luxury furniture, however, I already write this way - here in English, on ru sources in Russian. And I decided to make myself less work (especially with repeating additional info like similar items, daedric inscriptions and so) and, many thanks to ai, made a plugin to store info both ru and en, with export to BBCode for posting here. And if info is already stored, there is no reason not to show it.

So here it is, still in progress, but main things are ready: https://eso.enemoriana.ru/en/luxury/cycle/
    - cycle page will contain info about full last cycle, with last actual week on top.
    - archive will be filled automatically (once I've filled all dates, that's why "new" badges are not shown correctly yet), all history of luxury furniture.
    - week pages will contain all info about items. I filled most past weeks of this cycle (except irregular Witch-themed week), next weeks I'll soon fill with main info (to make archive work), but will add pictures when their time comes.
    - main page of section (yet empty) will contain general info.

This way after filling old info I'll need only add new items, update all-in-one picture and click few buttons to have ready entry on two languages on site and post here.

I have some questions though, about posting things both on site and here.
    1. What date format to use? In my country it's always DD.MM.YYYY. In topic name here, on forum, I use YYYY/MM/DD just because in previous BenevolentBowd's topics was so, and I didn't want to change things without reason. In game news it is MM/DD/YYYY (this format always looks insane for me). What is correct and most common? (thankfully I'll never have to write it myself, just specify in code)
    2. What time format to use, when I'll write about time Zanil is active (would be on "main" page)?
    3. How should be quotes written? Quote itself, book as source, NPC as source. Punctuation and typography are different in ru and english, and not always obviously.
    4. What additional info do you want to see? Not promising to add anything retrospectively, but next time each week will appear, I'll update it.

Any feedback, corrections, and suggestions are welcome.

The US is one of the very few countries in the world that uses MM/DD/YYYY, but of course a lot of ESO players are based there. I’d say use DD/MM/YYYY because I agree that the other format makes no logical sense, but in order to keep it clear for everyone maybe you could use the month abbreviation (Jan, Feb, etc) instead of the number?

dd/mm/yy or dd//mm/yyyy (as in most of the world)

Where ESO is concerned, ZOS plainly stated (in 2020) that EU server has a higher population server and more condensed prime time hours compared to NA server (going by time zones etc). Perhaps someone could supply info that's more current.

    @Enemoriana
Thanks again for your efforts, most appreciated

Khajiit rejoices! Huzzah! Many Thanks! For one weekend, at least, this one can load up on those few furnishing items he cannot already build, instead of just looking with distaste at the dungy bald-bottom "luxury" items offered during the rest of the year. Hah! As if.

    YYYY/MM/DD

This is an American game and a ton of players are Americans so it doesn't really make sense to use a format that's likely to confuse mass swaths of the people you're truly trying to communicate with imo. Likewise the American way isn't common elsewhere. And is confusing for people who aren't Americans.

This format alerts everyone they need to switch up what they're looking at equally, and it's already what people are familiar with for the lux stuff because of BB's contributions for so long here. I think BB chose a great format for being understood everywhere and it's pretty solidified now so why rock the boat?

+1 this, if it isn’t too much trouble.

Thanks for answers about date format!

I think I'll use idea with month name on site (10 jan 2026 is ok?) to make it clear to everybody and will keep as it is here (2026/01/10).
