Remember when we had class reps

When we had players that acted as reps for classes is that still a thing so many posts I’ve seen complaining about the fire breath morph using stam instead of magicka which has multiple complaints and resource management issues almost forcing players to use the channel potentially which isn’t great
The only change that’s upset a lot of people who do we tag to address this

No, there's not class reps anymore. When PTS launches on Monday, we'll get a slew of feedback threads. One will probably be dedicated to DK feedback and you can post about the changes there as that's presumably where the team will be looking for that kind of feedback.

This is the only post I've seen complaining about Fiery Breath being switched to stam. It's just the base morph.

Class reps program was ended after ZOS repeatedly ignored what the class reps' feedback, resulting in some class reps quitting the game over it as well. Maybe the ZOS of today would make better use of such a system, but when the system was in place all it did was direct frustration towards the class reps instead of ZOS because the class reps were perceived to be the right address for player frustrations.

The above post is the same as I recall, as well. And just to add an interesting historical note, the class rep program was ended just before U35 patch notes dropped. Yeah, they really did that.

No one morph will be a channel the other morph will be noxious breath coating stam apply maj breach shame as there’s so many sources of that in the game something unique so we didn’t feel forced to run the channel or drop it all together or that’s what I read anyway

Ironically the class rep tag is still on their forum profiles. I knew things were going to be bad when the class rep program was done away with, and then we later got subclassing...

Shame there was a lot of room for class reps to be involved and heard was a good opportunity but somethings things don’t work out and it seems like that’s the case here

    I do.

It was overall a good institution, even though I don’t know the whole vetting process behind it. In theory though, I think there’s value in having people who can articulate deeper technical feedback to the devs.

A lot of changes happened around U35, most of which were deeply negative, one of which the class rep program closure. It was sunsetted supposedly to broaden feedback channels, which is only happening now, really devastated the game from a design perspective. U35 went ahead and endgame, content creator, and feedback channels all saw massive exoduses.

During that time frame, it seemed like the devs were not truly interested in feedback that challenged whatever the vision was at the time. I hope that impression can be challenged going forward, now that we have more communicative leaders.

I hope Nick sees that there was such an exodus and is putting significant effort into repairing those spaces.
