✭✭✭✭✭They're not getting rid of the currency.
The currency (Seals of Endeavor) are being renamed to "Seals" and will still exist. They said that we'd be able to earn Seals as part of the Seasons, so we will presumably still be able to use them in the same way.
What will be going away are the Endeavor tasks, and therefore we will not get to earn Seals by doing those daily tasks. Instead, we'll do the weekly Season tasks and can get the Seals that way.7 -

Event Tickets are being turned into Trade Bars.
Seals are staying Seals.7 -
