Advice on improving DPS consistency for stamina arcanist for pug groups?

Currently running perfected ansuul's and deadly strikes. I have camouflage hunter on front bar with flail and beam. My question is for the backbar which has fulminating rune and blockade of fire, is it more consistent dps to slot Rune of the Colorless Pool or camouflage hunter?

For the single piece monster helm, is it better to slot Valkyn Skoria Mask, Valkyn Skoria Guise, Slimecraw Mask, or Slimecraw guise?

I would not suggest slotting rune of the colorless pool unless you notice that there's no minor brittle or minor vulnerability.

You should use slimecraw mask unless you notice there's penetration problems, then you can swap to guise or even valkyn depending on how bad you're noticing penetration is in pugs.

Let's say I didn't have camo hunter slotted on front bar. Does fulminating rune and blockade of fire snapshot the passive bonuses of camo hunter from the back bar when switching to front?

Fulminating rune might but blockade of fire I don't think does. It'd be preferrable to have camo hunter on frontbar and use the backbar camo hunter slot as your flex spot.

Unless you are running a pure Arcanist build, slot Merciless Resolve on the front bar where Camo Hunter is. It carries Major Savagery/Prophesy over to both bars and has a massive damage proc. Or go with Vampire's Bane as it has a 30 second DOT that grants you the buffs during that period

Make sure you have velothi-ur, I didn't see it mentioned. Make sure you're using inspired scholarship and ele wall on cool down backbar. I use solar barrage too. Other than that just flail twice keep dagger cloak up and beam. You'll be fine for the most part. Unless you're score pushing high end hard modes.

I'm still using deadly and ansuuls. Light crit boosting helm like slimcraw.
