It will return and ZOS said it could even be permanent. Calling it limited time is like calling the exorcised witch cottage limited time for being tied to the witches festival.SpiritKitten wrote: »And...it's only available for a limited time.
I am told that this was mentioned in the livestream (which I didn't watch for a variety of reasons, including my hearing difficulties).
My biggest investment in ESO is player housing. That is my endgame. I love collecting houses, furnishings, and building things in houses.
Conversely, I do not like group content or hard content. I'm a filthy casual when it comes to those.
If what I was told was true, PLEASE don't lock one system (new house) behind another system (hard/group content), especially when the locking system is meant to be difficult.
https://youtu.be/Bg3gcsstoXk?si=-FOC2DuSBPsZiTlLIt's hard to imagine ZOS actually gating something like this from casual players. Just because they're hyping up content as challenging doesn't mean that will actually be so.

Put houses behind harder content and you'll see more players actually engagining in harder content.

How about putting a house behind ToT?
I understand it as like the Elsewyr house. You do the start of the zone quest to get the house, then as you progress through the zone/quest you unlock extra parts/content for the house.BoloBoffin wrote: »My impression was that the house is a final reward for the completion of the Night Market event, and the more goals met by the community, the more tricked out the house winds up being.
So, all we have to do, I thought, was participate and the house is ours. Is that not what others heard?

I'm curious (genuinely) as to where this idea comes from, because there are things I want that are locked behind harder content like the Beast Personality. However I haven't tried because I know that content is beyond my reach. A lot of people who want X or Y aren't going to bother with the content it's behind if they can't do it or don't like it, so I have doubts that putting a House behind harder group content would prompt people who don't already like doing that to do it.DenverRalphy wrote: »Put houses behind harder content and you'll see more players actually engagining in harder content.

Yes, mostly people who don't actually want to be there, feel dismotivated and will behave accordingly.

Unless you're talking about the people who like harder content doing more of it because of a House being added, rather than saying people who don't like harder stuff will try it to get something they want. Tho idk if that counts as "more" people or if it's just the same people doing more content that's introduced as they always would regardless of the reward.

the YouTube video has subtitles for English and several other languages.
The YouTube app has a transcript too.
We do not know exactly how we get the house, but we can use the Group Finder to get help with whichever tasks the house requires in the Night Market.

Thank you. Do you know approximately what point in the video they talk about the house? I'd rather not watch 45 minutes when I'm only interested in one thing.
