Having watched yesterday's stream and glanced the blog posts today, and the forum post and end of year letters before, I have to congratulate the ESO team on a massive shift in communication. A new openness was promised and so far looks to be delivered as well. As someone who also works in communications in a creative business, I know from personal experience how hard it can be to get people to open up about things they perceive as unfinished or subject to change, but you're doing it now and I love seeing it! <3 As a long-time proponent of "WIP" disclaimers, I am really happy to see you bringing your experimentation to the public eye. I think we're all ready and willing to experiment with you. Let's hope this new trend will hold and we'll get a better understanding of your thinking, just as you've said you wish to gain more insights into what we want as players.

Happy new year from a happy player :)

I heard that promise pretty much every January in all the years I played.

I liked nick and hope we see more of him going forward. Word after word practically everything he says is something of meaning or substance.

I love gina and jessica more as hosts for questions, where before they were tasked with just spouting 2 hour livestreams of fluff that felt like they were being held hostage. Somehow that was supposed to hype up the new features by being mysterious too......ehhhhhhghghgh
    I only use insightful

I thought the presentation was extremely boring. All the pointless yapping about how they're being better at communication could've been done so much quicker. A lot of the information should've been saved for articles instead they dragged it out and the stream ended up being a dull 30 minutes of showcasing a road map. Very poor way to raise hope & hype for your game.

I've no love for streams as a medium of receiving information so no comments on that front, but simply saying "we're going to release things more quickly and walk you through what's coming" and "we're now willing to release some things partially for live feedback rather than gatekeep them until a whole system is 'finished' according to sub-population feedback" is a huge change. Jury's out on what the content actually is, of course, but I really appreciate this new direction.

Also the sheer number of highly requested goodies promised in the reveal was evidence of more than pretty words, IMO
