I might have misinterpreted things, but 'The Reveal' felt like it was primarily focused on the new Battlepass system.

While I’m not opposed to new ways to fund the game or adding premium cosmetics for subscribers, introducing a new revenue stream before fixing existing issues sends a worrying signal. It suggests that ESO has entered a 'mature' product stage where the priority is monetization over innovation.

The stream lacked depth regarding PvP updates, the new Trial, dungeons, and the story, opting instead for a 'we’re listening' marketing approach that felt hollow. It felt like the focus was on 'shiny new objects' rather than the core game experience.

I really hope I'm proven wrong.
Cheers

Premium cosmetics have pretty much always been for those paying, with the occassional bone to those who don't.
The revenue stream is simply moving format.
They are fixing an absolute load.
They are putting in new types of event and a new system.

They are also moving the game towards free to play, which should attract more players. Yes, the details are light on the ground, but they always are at this time of year. They will get fleshed out over the next 3 months as it hits PTS.
