New furnishing plans Abysmal drop rate.

do they not do the random portfolios for writ vouchers anymore? faustina had them i think. seems like it would be easier to farm crafting vouchers than patterns at this rate. or is the newest zone not included in that?

Is this some kind of bug or is this intended for new furnishing plans? Ive only gotten a couple looted furnishing plans so far whereas for murkmire plans for example, i can usually get at least one every other thieving run. its all just base game junk plans.

I've noticed this as well. Been this way for a while now. It's my understanding sometime after Summerset was released they adjusted drop rates and how many containers were 'out there' for consumption.

Its good cause plans are worth more but it's bad cause I have to spend longer looking for something worth selling and sometimes it causes conflicts with others looking to loot in PvE.

RNG rates are terrible. Given the amount of new furnishing plans released each major update I think devs should ban the trash base game furnishings from new Zones. So when you at least get a chance to roll for something, you get something exciting.

It seems like devs those times don't know the basics of probability...

And they keep giving us trash in weekly IA vendor, like they don't know anything about the market inflation on some items...

Or maybe they are just cruel.

I went back to Broken Light Temple and ran 5 characters through. It took way less than an hour per character to get a drop today, I think I did all 5 in an hour and a half. Best of all I got another worm cult purple furnishing. That brings me to 3 worm cult plans our of 33 purple drops. It's starting to look like around a 1/10 chance of getting a worm cult drop when you get a purple in there.
