Overland Difficulty: confusion after the stream

So, I just watched the stream and the addition of Overland Difficulty left me confused.

In the presentation it was shown that Overland Difficulty will come with Season 0. There was zero further information about this.

Later on Nick talks about Overland Difficulty and says it’s something that comes in 2026. This left me confused: is it coming in Season 0 or is it coming in 2026?

And why wasn’t it mentioned later on in the summary? Like… is it happening soon, yes or no, or is it one of those experimental and vague thinks that might or might not come in Season 0?

It is coming in 2026. We will have a write-up soon with detailed info on Overland Difficulty. But it is coming. Just not in Season Zero.

But Overland Difficulty options (plural?) are shown on the Season Zero category on this road map. Is it wrong ?

The roadmap on the stream has the wrong date then. IDK if you're all able to correct that at this point.

If you listened carefully what Nick said it was made pretty clear from his wording that it wouldn’t be part of Season Zero as was shown in the presentation. And now we have the confirmation that it won’t come with it, but in 2026 - thanks for the quick response here, Kevin.

So what you say - while being technically true - is very misleading if you announce it as part of Season Zero though and that’s my issue here.

Now I’m reading the interview on wccftech and Nick says the following:

Yes, it is currently slated for season zero. We're trying to be more transparent and part of that is that we're showcasing more of our plans, so some dates may change, and that's part of this. That said, yes, we're expecting it to arrive toward the end of Season Zero.

So… this is all a bit vague. Kevin saying it won’t come in Season Zero, but Nick saying it might come leaves me thinking that the interview isn’t up to date, which is even more confusing as we have several different answers now.
