I have to admit I was surprised by the recent letters from the leadership team and messages from community managers. Been playing Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind release way back when, even opened Arena at one point, and jumped into ESO quite a few years ago now (just after Summerset). Spending money on games I have never shied away from, and yes there certainly have been frustrations with ESO over the last few years especially where "plans" turned into nothing or disappeared entirely. Platitudes and self-congratulation only go so far. If there is one thing that ESO has going for it, it is lore and story, and the recent Daedric Event certainly highlighted that as I went through the questlines during the event on a couple of characters in my hunt for skill points. Spending most of my time in trials these days, I will say that the new dungeons have been pretty impressive over all in the last releases. World building is a strength, putting stories and a full spectrum of easier to harder content within is the challenge.

So now I look forward to hearing from a new team. Even little things like "super-dragons" in Elswyr that drop occasionally requiring more of a community effort to kill with a much higher reward, the same can be said of Harrowstorms, etc... will bring players back to a game as it is reward for effort that seems lacking in a lot of cases.
