that's fine and as it's not visually attached to the chest and moves with the legs i will still see it as a tasset.

I feel sad for the artists that did such beautiful work, only to have some 3rd-grader come along with his dad's pneumatic nailer and shoot some reclaimed concrete forms onto the hips.

Styles with tolerable tassets do exist, but they are rare.

For Khajiit 1 light it's only the robe that has loincloths. The jerkin has neither tassets nor loincloths, although I assume it has clipping issues.

I was not pleased to see the new (Golden Pursuits) Dibella outfit chest has a crotch flapper - tossing yet another potentially nice chest into the 'ignore' pile. I can imagine going back to address all the unwanted stuff hanging from waists (that should be attached to belts) is a lot of work but it is disheartening to see that the designers are not even trying to stop the bleeding as they continue to produce chests with hip/crotch/butt flappers.

33 minutes into the january 12 Twitch livestream,
Kira from ZOS talked about Tassets and Loincloths and said (paraphrasing) that they will look into being able to hide them, but no guarantee of it being possible.

it is lovely to get acknowledgement about it. Hopefully it will be possible in the future, until then i will still update this thread whenever possible.
potential updates would be
- PTS new update launch as they have future styles.
- new Season launch? Unsure as i assume those would be on PTS.
- Tamriel Tome launch if it has styles.
- new Crown Crate for its armor style.
- new Golden Pursuit start, if it has an armor style.

i just updated the thread with the new Jubilee and Jester styles from update 49.
- Dapper Daredevil for Jubilee 2026 has none.
The pouches could be tassets, but they appear to be attached to the chest's belt so it is unclear.

- One Bad Knight for Jest Fest 2026 has tassets.

Tome of Dawn and Dusk might have Outfit Styles, but it is unclear.
if this Khajiit armor is an outfit style then it is another addition for the thread

I can confirm that the pouches on Dapper Daredevil are attached to the chest piece, I had a look at that one on the PTS. (I also love the chest piece, that collar is gorgeous. Just wanted to throw in some praise the the designer.)

Surprised myself just now by clicking on the Khajiit 1 Jerkin and not seeing any Loincloths. Despite the icon having them, for all 4 jerkins.
(edited the thread a few minutes ago too)

when i created this thread in 2024 i partially used the icons in-game and on websites like UESP and ESO-Hub to decide which styles to add to my list(s).
