    I noticed Nick specifically mention they want to remove FOMO (fear of missing out), which the Solstice season pass was to me. How they do this should be interesting.

    Not sure what I think yet of battle passes, but I like a lot of what I hear. Also, the format is good for this particular update with all the changes. Nothing flashy, just direct talk about what the team is working on and where things are headed. It's refreshing.

    They're doing classes one at a time to better be able to incorporate feedback and examine balance of the reworks.

    New PvP rewards coming, 3-Sided BGs coming back on the weekends and may become permanent, pain point and qol improvements to PvP (fixing spawn camping, slingshoting into keeps, etc).

    Drops stopped working mid stream and now say that the second reward is no longer available. Typical.

    Nah I haven't been this excited for ESO in a long, long time man. It feels good to be happy about this game again. W ZOS & Devs. Huge fan of Nick.

    Also i've been calling elder scrolls online E-S-O and i will be exclusively calling it EESO to support Nick xD

    Was hoping to hear about some new systems. AKA, things that can change or add on to how we play. No nee scribing skills or skill lines or anything means another year of just pushing the same buttons. Lots of shiny cosmetics, but no actual new things for our characters.
    Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.

    Definitely feel like Nick is one of us. Was hoping to hear more technical details like PSSR support for PS5 Pro or maybe Apple Silicon support or Steam Machine optimization. But the overall tone of transparency and player appreciation was clear to me and I'm excited for this year.

    I would have liked to hear at least something about new content (stories, characters...?). Everything was just about "earning rewards". What's in store for people who play for the Elder Scrolls lore and not for mounts or skill styles?

    It sounds very cool, agreed, but if it's like a three-way public dungeon, akin to the fortress, it will not be comparable to a 4-person HM dungeon experience, and I wonder if it will have an involved quest associated with it.

    It is a mixed bag. So mixed that I don't know what to think. I guess it is the 1st update that I am not really looking forward to & I will see how the situation will develop.

    It looks to me like they are either trying to "milk" players as much as they can while also reducing cost... And yes, I am aware of the team being smaller etc.... I guess someone at ZOS thought this is kinda they only way forward...

    Big red flag for me is Battle Pass & different tiers. Why ? 1st of all - FOMO and 2nd - there is already ESO+. So now there will be like 2 subs that exists (and most likely Battle pass will be calculated in a way to enforce ESO+). Games that did introduced 2nd sub model overlapping either died or are dying (like WOT for instance). Also... good luck to players who use game pass or other sub model to have access to the game.... cuz they will have 3 subs now lol.

    I didn't get to watch the live stream, I know they said there's no time limit to complete a paid season pass once you've got it, but is there a limit on buying it? If someone takes a break from the game and misses the release window for a specific pass is it possible to get it later like you can with DLC, or are you out of luck?

    Feels like priorities are out of place... 90% of what i heard in the livestream was talk about visuals... the catchphrases 'class balance' and 'rework' got dropped a lot, but there were zero details beyond that...

    I'm quite active in endgame raiding, currently raid lead 5 different cores; one thing that's gotten really bad in the last year is roster prog; constantly looking for fills and permanent members for teams; a year ago i could put out a ping and not have to worry about it, these days i have to actively DM a bunch of people trying to find someone to cover a spot - the game has been hemorrhaging players since subclassing was announced/released.

    And you know how many of those people left the game because they didn't like the animation for engulfing flames or stampede?

    ZERO

    The number of people who left because of frustration with the lag/rubberbanding/disconnects, or their class getting nerfed into obscurity, or just plain wanting to play anything besides a beam build and have it be viable (by viable i mean not be a handicap to the group compared to if they were in a beam build) in end game content (hardmode/trifectas for the newer trials)?

    I honestly don't know; i've lost count

    (but on a side note, i can think of a few who left back in u35, and the nail in the coffin there was the change to the jabs animation for plar... just a reminder that a new animation isn't always better)
