So, I remember reading somewhere that an update would keep the players from "spending" their pets when transforming their fragments into mounts, clothes and houses.
I erased my Stonewisp of Truth and Law to create my Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos, then created a new one and picked all three fragments for the Julianos Spider.
My question is: how long we gotta wait for the update? I want to create the spider mount, but I don't want to erase my pet again!

✭✭✭✭✭It's the new one that will do that, starting with the Roseblood Bat pet and the first fragments of the Roseblood Wings recall, both of which can be previewed in the Collections menu.
The old ones will follow the old system, so you will still need to sacrifice the Stonewisp to make the Spider mount. In two years, the Impresario's Assistant shouild get the fragments that you can build another Stonewisp.2

I simply do not understand why ZOS do this. Just have all the old fragments, all available.

They did say that they would look into maybe converting the old ones to the new system and compensating players with leftover fragments, but there were no details or timelines for that.1 -
