Not necessarily a bug but most likely a cheat or cheating

Someone on Xbox in PvP campaign is running around putting camps down all over the map so we reach our limit of forward camps and cannot respond at a keep that we are trying to defend and have been defending for days now. I consider it cheating and I know zos can find out who's doing it just by re-examining the files and the information that's being saved on the server about who's placing camps. So zos if you can do that please look into it and figure out what can be done about someone logging in and putting camps down to help another team thank you

It's creative to be sure, but most definitely griefing which is a TOS violation.

That is interesting because I know nothing about camp limit and how it can affect ability to respawn or teleport to some keep. I used to place dozens of camps at once, while scrollrunning for example of just for fun because I was an emperor during Mayhem, so I had hundreds of millions of AP.

Could you revise how many camps was placed, approximately. Are they all on the screenshot?

What particular thing you was unable to do? Teleport from one keep to some another keeps or respawn on particular keep?
Was this keep lit and how many resources it had and what other keeps you controlled at that time? Do you have other screenshots with better overview (entire Cyro at one shot for example)?

There is a max number of forward camps you can place on the map. They are preventing others from placing camps.

I think maybe 10 or 12. They’re pretty expensive as far as items to buy from the siege vendor and I think you have to have a higher alliance rank to buy them, so I would not recommend it.

Don't worry, I have a lot.

It looks like 10 camps is maximum, I received an error trying to place 11th camp. Never saw it previously, but good to know.

BTW, these camps on the screen might be placed accidentally, because if group travel across the map, it can end like this with corridor of camps. If I would like to place a lot of camps, I would place them around keeps, travelling from one keep available to another to speed it up, but they are all in the field on the screenshot.

I have seen what OP is describing, there are always those on your campaign that are not fighting for you but against you, and they do things like this to sabotage the campaign.

I don't think I've ever bought a Forward Camp, but over the years I had somehow amassed several dozen of them, so during recent Mayhems I decided to start using them as needed. I think I eventually used them all up, and haven't obtained more of them. I think maybe they occasionally drop from Imperials-- along with repair kits, alliance potions, field provisions, etc.-- and at one time I enjoyed running around "farming" Imperials. I may have to start doing that again to stock up on supplies!

It`s definitely an exploit and needs to be reported. What they are doing is killing any chance to progress in the campaign. Definitely BAD! @ZOS_Kevin

I think you may be right. They also drop from the Mayhem reward boxes, though they are much more rare now than in the past.
