Communication problems with non-English speakers

    New players might not even know you are attempting to communicate with them. Something to consider is that (on PlayStation) the text chat by default is set to off. They may not know they need to go into settings to change that. They may also not be familiar with how to use the chat even if they have it turned on. The best thing you can bring to a pug is patience and lowered expectations, a pug probably isnt the best place to be attempting HM dungeons. Use your friend list or group finder for that and you’ll have a better time.

    I preface this by saying I almost never take part in groups for group content and mostly solo it BUT I think a valuable info is: many like myself don't want to use Discord or what else because they are not comfortable in communicating over voice chat. This leaves typing, but if you are on console especially, typing can be such a slow burden with virtual keyboard that it becomes useless and negative in most dungeon runs, since you can do better without it. It's just a last resort if you constantly wipe, but at that point you already know that group probably won't make it through, and communication is not really the issue.
