Daily writ Equipment and Consumables time per toon in Leyawiin

Blackwood Leyawiin starting at writ boards its takes around 1 minute and 15 seconds if you are using the lazy writ crafter to pick writs from the board go to each station and craft. Then head to turn them in. Starting from the log in screen on the next toon it takes around 2minutes 35seconds to do the daily writs and break down intricate to selling ornate and then putting writ vouchers and surveys with your gold in the bank. Log out on to the next toon. Hope this helps get a idea on the time to do dailies on each toon.

Leyawiin is awesome, but i prefer Skingrad.
Skingrad's writ boxes are inside the crafting area.

Nice the times there are similar. The way shrine and bank are close to the dailies in Leyawiin. another good spot is Solstice Sunport. Same quick to do writs but the bank and way shrine are not that close.

Solstice is great if you don't need the banker/mount trainer because it's all in one small building. And since it's in an building, there's less people and you don't have to worry about any NPCs yapping at you if you leave an alt inside of there.

I also really like Skingrad and Vivec City

Took me around 56 seconds in Sunport.

I prefer Leyawiin because I place a lot of weight on a close proximity to the wayshrine, and the wayshrine's placement among any/all services that may be required. The only downside is the stablemaster proximity, but for me that ranks lowest on my preferences. And I stopped caring about whether the banker was indoor/outdoor after the PS5 replaced my PS4.

[edit] Solitude comes in at a very close 2nd for me, because I love the crafting area's proximity to the guild traders. For new players leveling up crafting for the first time, that is oh so convenient. But again.. stablemaster proximity is a bust there too.

With pre-crafting for 2 full cycles, and having the banker (with everything auto deposited using addons), I prefer Skingrad.

My two alt accounts don't have ESO plus, so they have a character still in Vivec City (or all of them on one account, since it doesn't have West Weald), since the guild bank is right in the middle of the crafting area.

If I have characters "out and about", I'll usually just do them in the major city they are in, if it's even moderately inconvenient to do so, since the time to port to a "faster" hub will quickly outweigh a minor inefficiency in doing them in that city.

Edit: Horse training is no longer a concern for me as all 60 characters are maxed out.

I still find Vivec City to be the most convenient. The crafting tables, the guild traders and the Stablemaster are all next to the wayshrine. The bank is out in the open in the middle of the crafting tables and the Impresario is close by, too.

    Sunport - Time 1:20
    Skingrad - Time 1:28
    Leyawiin - Time 1:34
    Alinor - Time 1:35
    Vivec City - Time 1:42
    Rawl'kha - Time 2:02
    Riften - Time 2:19

I decided to go ahead and try this since I ain't got nothing else to do until later tonight. These were my times. My method was to use no speed rings but I forgot to take care of CP so some characters did have an advantage there, in particular I think this affected the times for Rawl'kha and Riften since those were on noobs. I grabbed the quests from the boards and then did them so they were all the same method. I only sprinted in Rawl'kha and Riften to grab the boards because the boards were kinda far. I did it this way just to minimize how much not knowing the optimal layout was for each city. Like I did have to go back to woodworker from the cooking fire in Skingrad since I forgot it wasn't in the main loop. I think that probably added like 2 seconds but idk.

I think I could tighten up all of these times. So ymmv, but these are my times from shortest to longest.

Shout out to Murfiex for the "Murf's Timer" add-on for PlayStation. I have used this several times now and I absolutely love how simple and easy to use all of Murf's add-ons are. Very well designed and helpful! You the best.

I still prefer Vivec City - it may not be the faster spot for the daily writs BUT it's probably still the best place because besides having all crafting tables close to the delivery point, you also have the stables, bank, merchantt and the guild traders that can be accessed without any loadings screens. And there's an outlaw's refuge very near the crafting area.

Although I don't always use it I think Alinor is the best. Just work your way around the room. Everything is well-lit.

Rawl'kha route that worked best for me when I was using it for a crafting hub.
Pick up board quests (first the equipment one, then the other one -- cut in front of the temple to reach the board from the backside)
Jewelry to enchanter to alchemy to blacksmithing to clothing to woodworking to provisioning then turn in.
Note that for provisioning I would 'exit' town by the woodworking station and use the cooking fire at the nearby camp.

No idea about the timing for it. Just putting it out there if someone wants to give it a try.

I currently use Vivec City for my main characters. West Weald is where my alts are parked at. With banker and merchant assistants they don't need to leave the area. I just put anything in the bank that I want to put in a trader and pull it out with my main later. When I was training the alt's horses, I used Northern Elsweyr. It was a longer route, but the horse trainer wasn't too far out of the way. Blackwood was more efficient for the crafting, but the horse trainer was outside the city with a load screen in between. The longer route in Northern Elsweyr was still faster due to not having a load screen.

Whilst definitely not the fastest I stick with Riften.

I think originally it was because the enchanting table is so close to the bank, I sell a lot of glyphs, now it is just habit.

The alchemy table is a bit of a pain but I bulk pre-craft those items anyway. 🙂

I’m with you in Riften. I picked it back on PS4 because there was no loading screen for the banker and I didn’t have an assistant.

Now I’m on PS5 and have assistants, but I’ve been doing writs so long there I just can’t think of moving. I also still do them without addons. I guess I just like listening to the same, familiar game music.

Console user here, so I'm new to add-ons, specifically Lazy Writ which I love. Reading about time to craft etc made me wonder - don't other people use the add-on to craft a cycle or 2 in advance? It's even quicker then.

My pure crafters (read necromancers and tanks and characters I don't use in content) make 4 cycles at once, old healers I don't use much but still carry sets do 2 or 3 and characters I use regularly do 1 or 2 cycles.
I craft in Skingrad mostly, although I do have a couple of characters in Sunport which is absolutely the shortest distance from writ boards to hand in boxes but is inside (load screen) and a good bit away from the wayshrine which are negatives for characters who do other things than crafting.

I used to measure the time too. I had everything optimised. I was proud to be very effective and made a lot of gold and mats. But when I got to the point where I didn't necessarily need to do crafting dailies for cash, I noticed how numb Skull level boring this activity actually is.
When you have to hear "My star eyed bride of Alinor" ten or more times a day, seven days a week, you can get angry if you don't watch out for your mental health.

So I decided to spruce things up and have every one of my characters craft in their home town, i.e. the town where their houses are.

That was less time efficient to be sure, but I kept sane while doing it.

Crafting ahead can make sense with ESO+. But when one does not have ESO+, the alts tend to be filled with the excess materials until the next ESO+ trial or purchase. I'm sure there is probably a way to do it and craft extra of all crafts without ESO+. I just know that that isn't for me. The only ones that I end up crafting ahead are provisioning and alchemy. And that is only because of the passives that produce extra. I've given up on crafting every day. I'll do it when I'm feel like it and have enough time.

Myself peronally, I just don't like having extra items floating around in my inventory. But that's just my own hangup.
