How do we remove notifications in our profiles?

I received a notification on 12/10/2025 that someone had posted on my wall. I read the post but the notification is still there. How can I delete this?
I looked all through my profile but couldn't find a way.

✭✭✭✭✭as far as i know the forum notifications from the little pull down menu just drop off over time
if you click the icon and open it, it will remove the little indicator about unread notifications
i think wall posts fall under the "New posts on my profile's activity feed" setting in the notification settings, if you turn that off then they wont show up at allplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

✭✭✭✭✭I've had every notification turned off for a very long time. I don't know why this one suddenly appeared again. I can't find a way to delete it.

✭✭✭✭✭yeah that stuff i dont think you can delete, but it will drop off after some time, i dont know how long it takes for it to drop off though
in my profile the oldest notification i have is from oct 31, 2025 right now
im not entirely sure why it would have shown up at all if you have all forum notifications disabledplays PC/NA
