Dear zos team,
I would like to express my grattitude to yall for a trully fun experiece in this year's new life event. I thoroughly enjoyed the 8 new daily quests. I found them to be fun, humourous and different.
I also appreciate the rewards this event, they are amazing so thank you. I believe 2026 will be a much more positive and prosperous year for our beloved eso game. I am still here and happy that i got my partner to return and subscribe too. Looking forward to a fresh new year so thank you so much. Also i wish you all and your families a very merry christmas. ❤️😊

Was going to post the same thing! Very pleasantly surprised by all the new quests. You basically doubled the amount of quests.

Was not expecting this, thank you!

PS: Merry christmas/happy holidays/happy new year to everyone! Remember, the best gift is to give a gift!

    SANDALS!!! We. Got. New. Sandals!

Just that is already awesome, but the Golden Pursuit is also nice, and I appreciated throwing snowballs.

Yes I love it, usually New Life is a close second to Witches Festival for my favorite event, but with the new quests and collectible costume this year it's my favorite event. It's the most wonderful time of the year indeed. Also props that the new quests fit perfectly into the spirit of New Life, simple quests that are more for the roleplay feel rather than killing bosses or running through delves, that's the charm of this event. Happy New Life to all!

I really enjoyed the new New Life Festival quests last night too. They seem like they'd be very replayable too - or at least some seem purpose built to be replayed with variable results. Overall, great way to end the year!

I was so happy with the trees from the Golden Pursuits--so far the only other way to get them would be to buy the new furnishing pack, so it was very nice of ZOS to include four (!) as rewards!

I've only done 4 of the 8 new quests so far but they seem fun. It is really refreshing to have that third quest giver join Breda and the Old Life fellow. There's plenty of variety and my elf is enjoying doing 3 or 4 of the quests daily. I also quite like how nice the Golden Pursuits fits and flow with the New Life festival - the tasks are varied and support the New Life event quite nicely. And with plenty of tasks to choose from, completing 22 or the 33 is no drama at all. Finally, for those who simply want to get their event tickets then turn to other activities, having to only do one quest to get all three tickets is great.

    Well done!

Edit: My elf has leisurely completed all 8 of the new quests and found all of them fun. I continue to be pleased with this year's New Life Festival and its associated Golden Pursuits.

I've played all quests twice now. The Auridon one has different people you need to deliver the food to and the Alikr one also has a second part, at least. The other 6 quests were identical to the first time.

Yes, mine, too! Though I also appreciated the humour of the Reaper's March quest with the "dragon", and the one with the Nord hermit also turned out a bit differently than I had thought, at least in terms of the background story. The Bosmer one is a bit weird, but except for that, I actually like all of them. I think they fit the festivity very well and the dialogues are well-written, too.

The snowball one has different targets, too. Or the chance of different targets, I should say. I was hoping the Auridon one had different people to deliver to, but I got the same one twice. Hope I get to see the others! I like talking to new npcs.

I wonder if they all do have some variety to them, but it's random which one you'll get, and so you could end up getting the same thing over and over.

At any rate, I'm enjoying them well enough. They don't bring a lot of new lore, but they do bring some, and I always appreciate that.

I actually really liked the bosmer mom and her dialogue, especially when asking about her kids. The particular mom-archetype that I think the devs were going for with her hit very well, just from the little bits of dialogue from her. This is from the perspective of the German localization but I assume the English one delivers the same.

Oh, I don't think she's not realistically written, I just didn't enjoy that quest as much as the others, but that's always also a question of personal preference. And I wished we got a bit background lore on what ever was happening with the mud person!

I think the quests are pretty well written for event quests. It was interesting to see some different takes on Tamriel. The Alik'r desert one and the "dragon," cave were my favorites.

Love to see this "old" staple event being added to. And the attention to qol by letting us take all the quests at once is a very nice suprise. And the quests are even unique and fun, what!?

    This is the way.

I too enjoyed bosmer mom talking about her kids, was very endearing...adds the family element to the game. It's what the holiday spirit is all about, family and friends. The dialogue for most of these new dailies were entertaining in my opinion.

Honestly same for me. Despite liking that character a lot, after I did the quest, my first thought was ''another silly bosmer thing.'' I don't know how fair that thought is though. While I think a simple holiday event quest can be a perfect way to expand on lore in serious-toned aspects, I also think they are one of the better times to do something lighthearted or silly (which can also still be a serious lore expansion in their own right, to be fair, I think).

Its a pity the way the quests are issued is crap.
If you havent got enough open quest slots you can not get to the bottom of the list

The quest could have been related to bredas quest region

I didn't get any new ones yesterday. Have you found more?

So far it "only" seems to be 2 parts of the Alikr quest, 2 versions of the Auridon quest, and I think the snowball quest always has a bigger pool of targets marked, you just don't need to get all of them?

If I've seen all of them at least once, I think I'll focus on feeding elderly Altmer now. Hope I won't overfeed them.
