Sweet, looking forward to wrapping up that mount and house.

Just a bit of feedback - can we avoid needing more than 3 fragments for something? With the house having 5, it starts to feel arduous. Just feels like it's stretching out something that should be a bit more simple.

As a thought, coming from one who has taken part in every New Life Festival...

Include an item, say a "Reward Ticket" (Cost 10 rewards) that can be saved in a personal bank, and can be used to claim any fragment for any reward offered in the future... or the past if there is a vendor for those items...
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most...

I thought that the house was going to be a bit of a grind when I saw that the third fragment was released alone. Then I saw that the last two fragments are being released at the same time and the New Life festival is being very generous with tickets.

Depending on how many tickets a player has on hand, it will take 3-7 days to collect enough tickets for the last two fragments. This is pretty sweet when it took me five days to collect the tickets for fragment #3.

Even though there are five fragments, they are released in three batches so we aren't hanging on that much. Maybe the announcement could mention something like "the final two fragments of the X house are will now be available and they'll be super quick to collect with three New Life event tickets available each day".

    Ngā mihi,

I thought I read that ALL the items available from the Impresario and Impresario Asst would be available for purchase with tickets, but I don't see Doomchar Plateau on there. I had gotten enough tickets to collect two of the pieces during the Jester's festival earlier this year, looking forward to Zeal of Zenithar a little later in the year when I also thought I had read at the time that the Doomchar pieces would be available again. I approached the event with zeal, only to find out the pieces were not offered. I bought Deadlands Scorcher skin pieces thinking they were house pieces, lol. And then suddenly this other house of Julianos appears. But no more Doomchar Plateau?

Happy to see there’s new & fresh quests. Should be done for all holiday events every few years to keep in nice and new!

Also, when is the fragment system going to leave? Doesn’t feel that great. I personally would vastly prefer getting the mount or house or whatever from an achievement associated with the event. The whole event ticket thing with a max of 12 tickets and fragments and yada yada feels bad

Doomchar Plateau rotates into the Assistant's inventory with the first event that starts in Q1 2026.

Given the events of a certain Solstice side quest, wouldn't it make sense to remove a certain Old Life Remembrance ghost from the pool? It's a little weird to be able to get them after they came back to life. I've had several friends report getting them already despite doing that side quest.

I hope Bretons get an additional quest in a future new life festival. Looks like the other races are getting plus one seasonal quest to enjoy.

Nice. I was always fond of this event for the xp bonus, lack of onerous ticket-grind, with the event quests varied and interesting enough if you felt like doing some more. Also good that it lasts a fair bit, especially with the xp bonus.

    Happy New Life.

New player here (level 29). I just accomplished all 10 New Life Festival quests, and I was a bit surprised not to get any achievement. For example, the "New Life Celebrant" achievement only seem to list quests from earlier years which are retired, and no longer available. Am I correct that it is not possible to complete any of these achievements anymore, or am I missing something?

There are 3 quest givers, the Lady, who only gives you one quest at a time, has the 9 with achievements.

Thanks! You are right. There are indeed 18 quests available (19 if you count the introductory The New Life Festival quest).
Breda gives 9 quests, one-by-one (which give achievements); Anicus Novius gives 8 quests, simultaneously; and Petronius Galenus gives 1 quest.

My mistake was that I assumed that I could all quests at once, and indeed the 8 of Anicus, 1 of Petronius, and only the first of Breda. Seem I'll be busy for a little longer. :)

@ZOS_Kevin - just wanted to ask if Ancius Novius was giving quests as expected? I've noticed that if you only take a single quest each day, he always starts with the exact same one. I'm not really complaining - I don't mind the snowball fight, and it's one of the fastest ones to do. It just seems odd that the initial quest he offers wouldn't be randomized (for those who choose not to do all of them each day).

It's all the ones from this year. Like someone else said, you'll have to visit another vendor during future events for fragments from previous years.

I'm pretty annoyed with the Food for New Life quest. It asks you to craft Banana Surprise. That's not an issue the first time you run it, although the Chef passive means you automatically craft up to 4 of that food. The problem is the next time you run the quest, it asks you craft Banana Surprise again instead of skipping that step if you still have some in your bag left from the last time you ran the quest. Any other quest would skip the step asking you to obtain something you already have. And since the focus here seems to be on crafting, I can't even give it to players who don't know the recipe. I either have to suck it up and have extras that I turn around and sell or just don't even bother with the quest if I don't want to keep crafting too much and having to sell it (I've chosen the latter). Maybe sometimes it asks for a different recipe, but I'm not going to waste my time starting it to find out, and then wind up in the same situation of extra food not counting on subsequent days.

This is my first New Life Festival. The quests seem fun and most don't take much time if you are just after your tickets. The only complaint I have is this is run during Christmas time and the only things I see with that theme are the 4 trees from the golden pursuit or the stuff for sale on the crown store.

Having no way to decorate my home to feel like Christmas is disappointing. Thankfully there are other games that do this but I would like to actually spend more time in ESO.

Yes, I am glad that you mentioned this! He only ever gives me the quest to go see the snowball lady and do that one over and over again! I have not been able to do any of the other new quests except for the one where you have to smash the rock that the orc guy gives you. But, I only just happened upon that one by accident while doing the older quest in that area with the food prep, and not because the guy in Eastmarch directed me to go there.

If you keep talking to him after accepting one quest, he will offer you the next without you needing to turn the other(s) in. You can stack all the quests that way. It's just that if you have none active, he will always start with Bruni's snowball fight.

That is completely counter intuitive to how older quests with Breda work! With her you can just cancel out of what she is saying to get a different quest from her. Why would they not make his work the same? :o

Was hoping for a cool group boss fight themed around winter stuff like a big yeti that has a rare mount drop or something that you can try once per day per character or something. Similar to the big boss fight we get around halloween! What about winter themed skill styles dropping from dungeons and trials and having a patch to re-decorate those spaces with winter themed stuff and adding new cool winter abilities?

I appreciate the new quests, but really think we need the following changes to events in general:
    - Big restructuring - add more variety, not just spammable dailies
    - Rewards - let's get away from tickets and fragments and reward players for achievements tied to the event and have things drop from quests. Motivation for many to participate is low if all you can do is log in and just buy event tickets on the last day

Might I make a small request? The Stonetooth Bash on Betnikh at the step where you drink from the barrel - can you either move the backpack in front of it or make it so that clicking on it by accident doesn't cause you to steal in the middle of an Orc Fortress? I know its a small thing but it would be helpful. Thanks and have a great Holiday!

I second this. There are three quests (that I've gotten, maybe there are more), potato, banana surprise, and carrot soup. All of them require you to make new food even if you have the food in your inventory from a previous day.

    Please fix this!

From comments made by ZOS staff about this, it appears the intent was to make it easier for those who like to do every possible quest every day to maximize their number of event boxes. I figured the best way around this was to grab all of them in one go, but only complete one a day. Of course, if you have a ton of unfinished quests in your journal you may not be able to do that.
