[Housing] Inconsistent construction pieces

I'm always happy to get new building items to create with, but there seems to be a persistent issue with textures and sizes not matching in a set, or on an overall scale.

Examples:
- The Colovian Stone Wall not matching the Colovian Stone Doorway in both thickness and texture
- The Leyawiin Castle Wall not matching the Leyawiin Castle Doorway in color and texture
- The Markarth Door not having a Doorway ❗❗❗ (or fitting in the Markarth Archway)
- The Markarth Platform not matching either of the two Markarth Stairways (those square markings being different sizes)
- The High Isle Thin Castle Wall not having a Doorway/Archway
- None of the big exterior walls having curved versions 💀
- Many (if not most) of the other sets having one thing but not the other (straight/curved wall, short/tall wall, narrow/wide wall, doorway, door, platform, stairs)

The texture/color differences being the worst of course, as it becomes glaringly obvious when placed next to each other, and it's driving me nuts.

They really should fix this! And I would also suggest adding a plain building piece (one to match each set) that can be used as a "filler", i.e; over doors or in-between gaps of walls and such, as I firmly believe that it will make a crucial QOL-improvement for housing in terms of flexibility (and just overall annoyance levels lol).

And glass. GLASS. Just a plain, flat piece of glass ala Reinforced Dwarfglass Window without the damn frame (and maybe cleaned up a bit), preferably in various sizes. I'm BEGGING you @ZOS_GinaBruno . Just think of everything we can do with that..! *sighs*

I just discovered the absence of a Markarth doorway in the middle of a build. :,) I don't know what I'm going to do.
    I care what you think.

It's really remarkable how well players get around all of these issues by mixing pieces creatively. There are SO MANY weird issues in Housing.

A friend asked me once if I ever draw out/plan my builds. And I said yeah sure, I use PTS – but it's totally impractical to sketch or pre-plan beyond that. This isn't like The Sims, where everything is based on a uniform tile size and even scaleable. ESO sizes and colors of things are all wildly different. Sure, plan away - only to discover nothing freaking fits together 😂

Anyway, big YES to filler pieces; little flat pieces in wood and other materials would be fantastic, as described here too:
+ A few things I keep wishing for while working on builds:
    • More little flat wood pieces besides the crate lid –
With little structures like this, it’s a nuisance trying to cover a triangular roof gap. Shelves and other flat-ish items all have things sticking out of them, so even if you find something vaguely matching, you end up covering up the cover-up. 🙄 SO much slot waste. Plain, flat little wooden boards would have so many uses.
    • Plain ropes and chains –
Ones that extend/shorten on interaction would be amazing! But at this point, a plain one with nothing attached that you have to hide would be so great. (Like the Daedric chain but… not Daedric. Or the "Druidic Gourd Candle, Hanging" rope, without the candle.)
    • Tiny, plain orb lights –
With different colors / brightness options would be incredible. Like the Psijic Lighting Globe, Small but static and MUCH dimmer.

And simple windows, a popular ask → https://moonpile.tumblr.com/post/787994604272238592/eso-housing-wishlist-master-post

I just made a Markath style custom build and realized just how many structural plans of that style that we don’t have. None of those fancy doorframes in Bthar-Zel, only one small wall piece, no curved exterior walls, none of those flying buttress type arches, no columns with the faces on them. I used the small platforms for roofs. I am sure there is much more I can’t remember right now.

I basically made facades because there were no actual rooms behind the walls in my build, and just placed the door right on the wall as it was the easiest way. I wanted to make at least one room you could enter but getting a doorframe that fit without gaps around it was just too much trouble.

Also, my first thought when we got Ayleid structural plans was to make a custom build, but we don’t even have a door. There is also the problem with making an underground house in Ayleid style as you can’t alter the terrain in houses. So I could add walls and stuff to the Ayleid house we have and that’s about it.

Like, why even bother releasing one or two tile pieces for a set and literally nothing else? Goodness. Imagine buying a model plane kit and the only pieces it comes with are the wings. My Stillwaters from scratch looks janky as hell because I chose to mix the dark Dwemer tile pieces with the light ones.

I didn't know the Ayleid tileset was missing the cursed door. Why! They got their own dedicated update! Does Zenimax not have a checklist of tileset pieces players need to construct a functional building? It wouldn't even have to be a long one. Let's say...
    • Walls, straight
    • Walls, curved
    • Floor, large
    • Floor, small
    • Door frame
    • Door
    • Stairs
    • Ceiling/roof
    • Window
    • Pillars

It feels damning the list is so short. Is a consistent ten plans per tileset really too much to ask?
    I care what you think.

That is what I ended up doing, using some of the older Dwemer pieces with the newer ones. Hopefully it worked out alright as I sort of transitioned from one to the other.

I can only guess that not much time or effort is put into gathering and releasing the structural plans, as others have noted the pieces don’t fit well together for the ones we have. You listed a minimum set but I really think we should have access to all of the assets used in the game. I would have argued in the past that they should all be craftable but at this point I would settle for some of them being available with crowns.
