Problems with Subclass Quest

I have been in back and forth emails with customer support on this problem. For starters this was the only character where something went wrong.
I have successfully subclassed at least 8 or so characters. Over the past weekend I wanted to try a different build with my first necromancer, picked up quest and went to Reapers March and proceeded as normal.
Not sure if I accidentally left the dialogue window by accident or if it was something else but I can not complete quest. In my quest journal I am showing one of the two tasks completed and every time I haul the NPC I have to pay the class switch fee.
Customer support says it is because I have one skill not maxed which I called BS on because I was able to do it on other characters with no issues.
What I don't like is you can't abandon the quest and trying to tell them that all I want to do is possibly restart it but they keep giving me the same response.
The funny part is I can subclass into a skill on this character but my journal shows it is not done. Not sure if Kevin could help me on this matter. I'm currently on my phone so it's hard for me to ping him.
I even sent screenshots of the issue.

Ardriel✭✭✭✭✭I have the same problem with one of my characters. The quest is still not completed, even though I already have two different builds with subclasses. The quest log says: "Subclass a new skill line" which I did of course. However, when I talk to the quest giver, there is no option to turn in the quest, I only see the usual menu: ‘Choose Disciplines. Make a donation: 1500 g’. I've done that a few times already. But the quest still isn't completed.0 -

✭✭✭✭Also have a few characters which are stuck with the subclassing quest myself, and unable to complete it. The quest should be made into: "Do you understand how subclassing works?", answers "Yes"/"No". Yes completes the quest, no gives a small tutorial. Done!
There is no reason to force us into specific questlines to complete this quest. Luckily subclassing itself works perfectly fine, as it is not unlocked by completing the quest.1 -

My AD toon was finally able to close it at the EP alliance questgiver. For months I had been bugged visiting all 3 Bahtra at-Hundings repeatedly trying to close it. So I'm under the impression that it's likely to be the same Bahtra that the character visited to receive the quest and not so much the character's alliance.Edited by DenverRalphy on December 17, 2025 3:15PM2 -

tohopka_eso✭✭✭✭Finally got it to cleared a bit ago.
First I went to one of the other Bahtra then back to the one that started it. Kept playing around on the skills but when i tried to buy a second one it automatically went, completed the conversation and quest is now completed.
