Alinor influenced movie set design?

So last night I was watching the new Knives Out mystery. And was floored when I saw the main set design where much of the movie takes place. No way it's coincidental. The pics I'm pasting show just a small fraction of the main set design.

Curious about it, I researched a bit and yes the internal scenes are on a movie set. The set designer is obviously familiar with TES. Has to be.

This is literally gothic architecture style. 12th to 16th century.

Edit: Upon a closer look, I'd rather say neo gothic. And English, perhaps.

Yeah, I'm familiar with gothic architecture. But I thought it was a bit too on-the-nose even being of similar architecture. Taking into account the color balance and temperatures, of the stone/marble, wood, carpeting, etc.. Ah well. I just couldn't get ESO out of my head throughout much of the movie. LOL!

Why would they use a video game as a model if there are thousands of real world buildings in this style that they can use for reference? Also, it looks completely ordinary to me.

I was just making a tongue in cheek observation. I was merely noting the striking similarity, and musing at a not impossible to happen influence. But okay.. whatev..
