If anyone has questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
A little tidbit... We've been doing this since 2019 to give something back to the community and our content creators. A chance to relax, have some laughs, and get a little Christmas Spirit.
This production is a full play that contains music, scene changes, and plenty of hard work from the actors/actresses. The script is 88 pages long which each actor has a digital, and physical copy of the script to make notes on tempo, emotes, etc...
This particular play, An Entangled Carol is the last story of the Christmas Carol Trilogy that we have been doing since the beginning. In creating the script, we use part of ESO lore and inject that into the story. Our very first play, An ESO Christmas Carol, 80% of the entire script was based off of actual dialog in the game itself.
Everyone is familiar with the Dickens story which we brought forth in the first play using things like the Harborage as Past, the current DLC as present, and Cyrodiil as future. In the second story, Scrooge sues the ghosts of past, present, and future thinking they should also bring joy to the world 365 days a year if he is expected to. And then finally in our third story, Scrooge is dead and Investigator Vale is on the case while trying to manage her own demons.
In creation of the story and sets have more than 400 hours logged and that's not including practice. We use EHT for our constant scene changes, and Soundboards for our music, effects, and voices.
Our biggest battle that we have is trying to convince some that this isn't an ERP or just a few people standing around. ZOS has done an incredible job helping to promote with many attending our productions. You can read about it on the ESO Forums in General, on Reddit, the Dwemer bot, and right now... it's even on the launcher.
If you have not seen a production, maybe take just a little time and join us for some Christmas Spirit. We have a few seats available still for our 2 shows this coming Sunday and then our last on the 18th. We do 6 shows in total. Simply reply or message me directly. We'd love to have you.
