What’s the purpose of Hinderance poison or other stun, fear or pull skills if they don’t work on these wardens running around with wings, hard to kill, somehow self heals like crazy, can kill you with a few hits and seems to never run out of resources? These broken builds ruin Cyrodiil. Put them in a small ball group and they just run away when against too many enemies. And then they come back and run around like cowards. PS5 NA

    They are using line of sight game mechanics to do most of the work for them. To them it is a min/max ap farming spot. Least effort and danger / easiest ap for skilled solo players. Don't hate the players, hate the game.

    They will heal like crazy because they will LoS your skills to receive less damage.

    Do not pursue. On open ground they will receive much more damage and can be bursted down. When they see 2-3 times that you dont take the bait, they will usually go away to another spot to lure other people.

    Just don´t chase them, problem solved. If no one fights them they´ll leave. Crazy that you´ve to tell people this in 2025

    Not really the crazy part. The crazy part is that balance is so bad 65% of PvPers can get away with this. Counterplay is gone. Cyrodiil is so passive now because when there’s a hurricane swirling around a betty it’s better to just leave them alone. Like, what?

    As other pointed out a large part of this is due to Line-of-Sight. But what many people don't realize is how much difference in internet speeds plays into this. If they are rocking a really good connection and you aren't it's impossible to compete with them at this. They will always be just far enough ahead that you can't connect with them and likewise you will always be just a tad too far behind so that they always connect with you. This isn't really a solvable problem either. It's just sort of the nature of the universe. So you have basically three options. 1) Zerg the hell outta them. Why not? They built for it so might as well put them to task. 2) Leave. As I said, with a significant enough difference it's literally impossible to compete anyway. 3) Move closer to the server and buy some really really great internet service. Personally, I don't care enough about winning in a videogame to do that last one ;)

    Don't know if this is true but I heard running fast up and down vertically can also cause desync.

    The problem about "just ignoring" is that it does't work. Ignore them and they'll start capping ressources and tearing down keep walls from outside the range (like in Faregyl...).
